Idk what everyone is talking about this place being shitty or bad service or whatever. I got here like last minute and dude I really like the the owner she's really nice. And I would definitely stay again. My ONLY thing is she's so soft spoken I had to really really pay extra attention to what she was saying but I have that same problem

Absolutely worst hotel I've ever step foot in. Walked into the room it was dirty and decrepit. Carpet torn up, hair and stains all over the sheets, spots all over the kitchen area. Asked the owner for new sheets and she refused to give them to me and said they were clean. I went and bought my own cleaning supplies bc this hotel was our last option. It was so gross I couldn't handle it so my significant other and I decided to stay in our car. Upon telling her in the morning about our problems and how we wanted refunded she made excuses, refused to return our money, then told us she knew we would do this. So all in all come here if you want to stay in your vehicle for 110 dollars and housekeep for another hotel without pay.Never will return. Would rather sleep outside then in the hotel.

May not be your fanciest motels but Shelli's been very accommodating to us. We were stranded late Saturday morning and Shelli was nice enough to understand what we were going through. Its not the quantity that counts but the quality. I would recommend this place and will always stop by to say hi.

Our room was adorable, wood-paneled and charming (but small) and included a small kitchenette with a mini refrigerator and stove. We were able to cook a little meal on the road which was awesome. Everything was clean and well maintained, great for the price. The owner was very friendly. Note: no wifi.Would definitely stay again if passing through in the future.

Honestly this place sucks. 75$ for one queen size bed that feels like you can barley move in it or it'll break. No ice machines or at least one that works. No breakfast. But a tv that is 2 inches long lol. Bugs all over inside the place. No mini fridge like the other motels usually have. Not worth it honestly I'd rather just stay at motel 6 in Bakersfield for the night next time.

The Isabella Motel is the very definition of quaint. The other reviewer here obviously wanted to stay in a 5 star resort, which this lovely motel obviously is not (and by the way, sir, there are plenty of other places to stay in the area, so why did you and your "talent" decide to stay there if you hated it so much, and for 15 days?!?!).What it is, is a very charming little motel. We stayed only one night in a room with a queen bed. No, the room wasn't very big, and there were virtually no amenities, but I've always believed that a motel stay is what you make of it. The manager was extremely pleasant and informative, and the room... again, "quaint" is the perfect word.An absolutely lovely motel that I could not recommend highly enough. The price might seem high ($65 per night for two people in a queen sized bed) but considering the location, you really couldn't do better, and it's far enough away from main traffic that it was pleasantly quiet.Even though it is far off the beaten path for any destination we might go to regularly, we are definitely going to be staying there again when we do happen to find ourselves in the area. In fact, we are actually planning on going back to visit the lake almost solely for the purpose of staying at the Isabella Motel again.

Stand alone motel with above average rooms (from a motel perspective). Clean rooms/showers. This is a 19 room property....probably the only motel in the area. There's a pool on property also. The owners are a couple that's usually in office until 10p, but if you are arriving later than that, just give them a call n they can arrange for someone to be there. There's nothing much around this part of town....but do check out cowgirl cafe down the street..There is an ice machine and a microwave on property, right by the office. The pool really doesn't "close" at the end of the night, so feel free to check it out. Its a pretty good place for you to get some peace and quiet time while stargazing.

for fifteen days i called isabella motel home. actually i called an rv outside the isabella motel home. most of our talent stayed at this establishment that touts twenty rooms that are the definition of 'shithole', a cold-as-fuck garden hose powered swimming pool, an iceless ice machine, and travel brochures to must-see attractions such as 'ghost town'.yeah, i had the option to stay in one of the rooms at the motel, but decided to situate myself in an rv instead. the main logic behind this choice was the constant thought of getting off my sofa-bed and driving the fuck outta dodge... and the sporatic thought of driving myself into the lake and ending it all.

Bad, old furniture, no refrigerator or microwave. Rooms have obvious water damage. Toilet looks like it's from the 1950s. Two electrical plug in's both blocked by furniture. Not a good value for the price. They offer a $2.00 discount for Veterans, Military and Seniors. WOW really!
