La Villa Meat Market

I had a great experience at La Villa! I went on Super bowl Sunday and it was fairly busy! Some of their meats and items were sold out but I expected that as it was super bowl weekend. We had to grab a number and wait our place in line. We waited for about 15-20 minutes. It was honestly not that bad of a wait since they also sold a bit of produce and other items so I got to browse around. Just got some ground tilapia and shrimp for some mariscos and it was all super fresh! The employees were all very nice and helpful. They prices were also great!

I love coming here. This is the only place I buy meat. The cashiers are always friendly. 10/10 recommend. It is locally owned small business run by a family which I like. I also like the Mexican products and fresh produce

Great tasting meat and friendly service. Sometimes the line is long, but you can skip ahead if you place an odder on the phone!

I literally just left the store about an hour ago. I don't know what carnicerías are good here in Bakersfield (east side) I haven't lived here long. I used google and it brought me here. I came for the carne picada for tacos. This is my 3rd time here, but, NEVER AGAIN.! Every time I go the meat counter is ALWAYS empty. You ask for something and you either have to wait or they don't have it. There's like 3-5 people behind the counter but it's empty. I've gotten good meat 1 time. The first time, but the next I just figured they were having a bad day. Today it's awful. I hate biting into a nervy taco. 1star because I couldn't post without giving them something

I waited over 40 minutes for just one item in the meat department crazy. Apparently looks like you need an appointment to get meat or any item! This store is filthy and very dirty. All employees are unorganized and lazy ! They need to get better service not coming again that's for sure .

I love coming here for there meat, but they should really work on there customer service. The females seem so antisocial can't even greet you or give a welcoming vibe. I can love a place and if I get bad service I won't want to go back. Don't forget treat people how you want to be treated.
