La Michoacana Plus - Bakersfield

As soon as I walked in I was welcomed, it felt like visiting a family friends house. There was some Mexican music playing, it was perfect. The workers are so sweet, gave me all the advice I needed. I got the biónico and it was SOOO creamy, the fruit was fresh and tasty.

Decided to pop in and have pistachio ice cream. This place is pretty tasty and has a lot of nostalgic flavors of ice cream that you will find in Mexico.The place is usually busy. However, the staff is very good at keeping things organized and the line in order to get you, your treats as quickly as possible. The location is huge and clean, even the bathroom was clean and that's saying a lot! Kudos to the staff for doing a great job and making sure their establishment is not run down.The pistachio ice cream is so delicious here. It is creamy, but also very nutty because they are not stingy with the nuts. They also make the ice cream with real pistachio nuts versus other places that use almonds, I am sure to accommodate people with allergies... But it is rare to get a pistachio ice cream with pistachios. I had a small scoop, which was plenty and hit the spot!Enjoy!

Love the options!!! My favorite is maracuya (passion fruit)& coconut. My husband loves the mangonada. Ice cream is always so good here!

This place is fun. The colors, the murals, the mangonadas! I felt like a kid, so excited to be sitting in a booth that is upholstered in bright watermelon colors. Of course the whole family loved it. There is something delicious for everyone. And seriously, the best mangonada I have ever had. The most wonderful balance of sweet and spicy with fresh mango on top. I couldn't eat it all in one sitting so I put it in the freezer & it was just as good the next day. I want another right now.

This place is seriously picture perfect! The colors make the place look like your in a music video for Taylor Swift! It's very colorful and clean! Also, the people that work there are kind and provide fast service . Now to the good part, my go to has always been mangonadas and I truly enjoyed every bite. This concoction Is made with soft served mango ice cream with chamoy and chili candy bites it is sweet and spicy so if that's your thing you must try it! The menu has many things I would also love to try like the Tostilocos and esquite. This spot has definitely become one of my favorite summer spots to go to! Due to COVID-19 you must wear a mask upon entering, there are big pumps of hand sanitizer available and all orders must be placed to go!

I'm updating my review because I drove across town to try items that I saw on the Instagram page and they didn't have anything from the page in the store. So I ended up having to pay $7.50 for a snickers milkshake that I could have paid less that tastes better at sonic . Completely disappointed. Music was so loud I couldn't even hear the workers asking me questions.

It was a nice Mexican Ice Cream Parlor. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I was helped a minute later. I got a TostiLoco and 3 ice cream bars. All delicious. I live in the Northwest but I'll be definitely making the drive out there for some more.

Great food and desserts. A+ customer's service. Never disappoint when it comes to where to eat

So it says they close at 10pm and then I believe the last time I visited they said the closed at 930pm, please help me understand if I show up at 915 why are the doors locked? What are the correct hours of business for this place? Can management update google? What's the point of someone searching for hours online and then not being correct. Drove ten min to find out they where closed and I'm not the only one other people showed up after me to pull on a locked door

Honestly the best La Michoacana in Kern County. My husband and I literally take a trip across town just to go to this one. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. The food it always good! Every experience is always the best. We will never go to another one!
