La Mariposa Venue/Hall

I cannot say enough good things about La Mariposa and their owner Amanda and her family! I just had my wedding there this past weekend and it was everything I could have asked for. We initially were going to have a backyard wedding but we have a big family and wanted to be able to share that day with them. I found this venue through a friend who knew the owners and I'm so glad I did. The price was very reasonable, the venue is beautiful, and underrated! They were so accommodating and very communicative. I had my ceremony and reception there and everything went so smoothly! I even had my photos done on the back patio and they came out so cute! It's really a hidden gem. Amanda and her family really made the night great. They were soooo helpful and sweet. All my family and friends were so impressed! We will definitely be back for future events. I can't thank La Mariposa enough!

Rented the venue for my daughter's quinceañera and everything was perfect. Amanda was always available to answer my questions leading up to the event. I got the package that included the decor and gave her ideas of what we wanted it to look like. The decor was amazing and beautiful. We got tons of compliments. She and her staff are amazing.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to have our baby girl's baptism here. It was hands down the best decision we made! The venue may not look like anything special from the outside but once you walk in, it is a different story! It has large arches and a beautiful antique brick wall which truly makes it quite breathtaking.Amanda, the venue owner, was nothing short of amazing. I probably called and texted her over 50 times to ask questions and she was always very helpful and communicative. She and her family were there the whole time of the event which made things run very smoothly. Any questions I had she was right there to help! She truly has a big heart and puts a lot of work into everything she does and it shows. Several of my guests asked me for her contact info after my event so that says a lot! If you are looking for a venue for your event in Bakersfield this is the place to go, trust me, you will not be disappointed!!! :)

La Mariposa Venue made my daughter's day magical. My daughter had an image for her quince; aesthetically pleasing with greenery and Amanda did that! So many guest complimented on how beautiful it looked. The food was amazing, I got many compliments on it, again thanks to La Mariposa Venue!The cake was so delicious. Thank you Amanda for setting us up and managing everything so well

I decided to have a surprise 40th birthday party for my wife and wanted to rent a hall. There's so many with horrible reviews but after meeting with Amanda I knew this was the spot. The hall is beautiful, spacious and very accommodating. Amanda was willing to work with me the entire time. Her and her staff did everything to make sure our party was a hit. I was given my deposit back in a timely manner and look forward to doing business with her in the future.

Amanda and Becca coordinated the day of my wedding and they exceeded my expectations. I cannot thank them enough for all that they did. Both Amanda and Becca were so attentive and although there were stressful situations that came up they both handled it very well. I highly recommend their services!

Thank you so much for our baby shower Amanda! It was more than what me and husband expected! From start to finish, Amanda bended herself over backwards. She goes above and beyond and loves to do her job. It shows in everything she did for our baby shower. Everything was beautiful and I would definitely have another event and recommend your venue to anyone and everyone!
