La Maison Santa Barbara

I don't think the pictures do this place justice. It is so beautiful, so clean, and spacious! I came with my now-husband and our twin toddlers to get married at the SB Courthouse and had the most unforgettable time with all our immediate family. We were able to host everyone at the rental afterward to celebrate, and we didn't have to worry about our kids being woken from their sleep, as each living space had doors we could close to keep it quieter. That was a really cool feature! We loved the location so much. It was so fun to be able to walk around downtown SB at any time. We can't wait to go back.

A peaceful, spacious retreat in downtown Santa Barbara. Clean and well designed with lots of Victorian touches. The backyard is perfect for a dinner party. There's also a hot tub for some evening relaxation!

Rachael provides clear instructions and easy communication via email and phone and she is very responsive to any questions or concerns. It has been a pleasure to work with Rachael. This is the place to stay in Santa Barbara whether a couple, family or larger group. It's centrally located, clean, comfortable, well-appointed, quiet and all around great. The house is spacious with every last detail thought through. From a warm welcome from the host, to board games, a grill, hot tub, guest book, postcards and more. The house is stocked with the supplies you'd expect at a hotel (shampoo, etc.) but with touches like nightlights and coffee that make it feel like home. We felt very comfortable here - it's stylish without feeling generic - and would absolutely return. Hopefully we can stay longer next time and bring friends/family. The house seems great for entertaining, but if that's not your thing, downtown Santa Barbara is a block away and the funk zone is about a 15 min easy walk. The beach is also super close. Highly recommend!

This was my first AirBB experience and I was blown away by how awesome everything was from Rachael and her prompt reply to all my questions to the house being more than we expected. All 10 ladies complimented the home non-stop and we will all refer our family and friends to this home. We made such amazing memories and were so happy that the commons spaces were perfect for all 10 of us to hang out, laugh and play games!

I stayed here for several days and it was fantastic. It is a large, beautiful house and the host has carefully thought through the needs of guests and provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for exploring the amazing town of Santa Barbara and its beaches. It's a very short walk to all the nearby attractions. Stay here...you'll love it.

We rented La Maison for a weekend family get together and from check-in to after our check-out everything was a great success! The rooms are a very nice size, plenty of space, and there is a day bed for an extra two people as well. The couch is a comfy sectional and there is a lovely long dining table inside. The outdoor space is a great area for a bbq or a larger group to get together, too. The house is located ideally one block from State Street (so quiet) but very close to all the action. The owner of the property also made sure our check-in went well, although we could only get in at 4 pm due to cleaning we were able to leave our cars in the driveway and drop off some bags ahead of time. She even mailed me some personal items that I forgot behind me at the house! Altogether, this was an excellent booking and I highly recommend La Maison for your stay in Santa Barbara!

We stayed at La Maison following a family reunion in Hermosa Beach. Santa Barbara is a beautiful area and La Maison is perfectly located in the town. It's an easy walk to restaurants, shops, the Wharf. The house was charming. We loved the high ceilings. It was very clean and well stocked. We never met Rachael, but she was easy to contact and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

Rachael's beautifully renovated home in the heart of downtown is the perfect base to enjoy the best of Santa Barbara. Convenient parking, easy check-in, well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds are only a few of the attributes that we greatly appreciated. We would love to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family.

I want to start out by saying how incredible my entire experience was with La Maison. I am from the OC area and my boyfriend lives up in SB and I planned a trip up there for all our best friends from the OC to come surprise him. I found La Maison online and called Rachael to get more information as we were a group of 9 and I wanted to make sure this was going to accommodate everyone. From the moment she picked up the phone she was so kind and helpful in answer any and every question I had! I spent a few weeks shopping around and reached out to Rachael many times throughout the process and received quick helpful responses every time.We came up there the weekend of Feb 3rd-5th and as soon as we saw the house we were all in love! Everything was beautiful and open and it was a lot more spacious than the photos show (and even though the photos are great). There was a long drive way (which we were grateful for since we drove 4 cars up and parking can be tough near State Street) and a great area in the back with plenty of room for bbq, corn hole and the jacuzzi was appreciated! There was plenty of room for every one to sleep since the sun room and the living room close off and have beds which was something I was worried about since not all of us were couples. There was not a single thing that I would have changed about the home.On top of being a phenomenal home, the location couldn't have been better. A lot of our group had never been so SB so we got to walk around State Street and take them to Lead Bedder for some beach fun. The weekend was truly one we will always remember and we all still talk about going back! If you are looking for an easy get away without the stress that can come with planning vacations, La Maison Santa Barbara is the place to go!! I can't even express how grateful I am to Rachael and Tom for making this trip so memorable for all of us. Thank you for being so kind, welcoming, and supportive through out the process!
