La Fiesta Sandwiches & Things

We paid $5 per taco and they were greasy and made the shell fall apart by the time we were able to eat them. Not worth it. We called them and they said they would replace them if we came back. That wasn't feasible and they wouldn't credit us for the next order. The cheese was melted on the paper and they said it was the lettuce that ruined it. We've eaten there for 30+ years and it's a shame that they can't be consistent with the quality.

It has been at least 17 years since my last visit, because of if I had gotten sick immediately after eating there. I believe is under new management/ownership now so we decided to try it, my carne asada plate was great, the meat was tender and flavorful. Then I ordered flan and I was so pleased that it was house made from scratch and not from a box as most Mexican restaurants offer. I'm glad to have tried it after all these years. Good job to the new owners for doing a great job.

I sat there to eat my fish & chips Dinner, I needed more ketchup so I went back to the counter to grab a couple of ketchup packets , as I was walking to the counter there were drippings running all the way from the sit down booths to the two front main doors to the entrance. I thought it was Chili!!! There was one worker cleaning up the drippings on the floor that was left by an elderly man who SHIT HIMSELF OR Diaper overflow BLOWOUT!! The Worker wasn't wearing any gloves or PPE!!! He was wiping up human DIARRHEA!!! With bare hands but was using clean white clothes for wiping down counters and tables. he works behind the counter as a server & waiter. I haven't been back

I ordered grilled fish since it's the safest choice, i was wrong. They still didn't do it right. It advertised as two pieces of fish. What I got was less than 1.5 pieces. There was no flavor, no fragrant. It was like they took it out from the package and threw it on the grill. The bean and rice actually taste better than the fish. Three of my coworkers also gave this place thumps down, and they are less picky than I am. I had bought food here one time before and was disappointed. They did not disappoint in disappointing me.

covered outdoor seating, TVs with sports. Bar. driver through, telephone service. this place has a lot of ways to get the food. only one table for large groups. the ice is soft.

This is my go to place in Ridgecrest. Surprisingly, they have great fish n chips. Also, I enjoy their Mexican food Tostadas, Tacos, and chimichanga's. This place is not fancy because it's about the food which I can appreciate. Service is good and if you have any issues just send it back no problem.

Worst experience ever. Order a chimichanga with beans only...got one full of meat. My brother also ordered one and the workers said we got them mixed up. The workers took one of the burritos back and never boxed it up. Turns out both had beef. We told the manager and she argues with us and refused to take one off the bill. She offered to make another one for us but we were leaving. Just admit you messed up and refund our money rather than arguing with us when you were the ones that messed up!! The kicker here is that the manager said we should have not said "beans only" but said "beans only no meat" which is not only stupid, but literally means the same thing!! Order carefully or get yelled at! Rude people work here!! Stay away!! By the way we were out the two burritos and they stole our money for them.

Worst restaurant in Ridgecrest. I've been here a few times for lunch with coworkers, and every time I've been disappointed. The building is old and gross looking, and had a bad smell when I went in last. Every time I go, I have felt that I paid way too much and haven't been impressed with the food. Today's lunch was the worse.They serve Mexican and American options, so for this last time, I tried the steak sandwich. $14.86 got me the sandwich with fries and a drink. Crazy expensive, and it got worse from there. When it came, it had a ridiculously small amount of meat in it. Didn't even cover half the bun. I don't think I've ever tried to send food back, but here I did. The lady brought my same plate back to me immediately and said that this was how it comes. Look at the pictures and compare how much meat there is vs the French fries on the plate. If you want good Mexican food, go to Bernardino's and spend less for much better.For a quick bite of cheap, good, and fresh, go to Cocina Caliente.Really, any Mexican food in town will be better.

WOW! What a nice surprise. SUPER friendly family run restaurant. Traveling from San Diego to Reno and stopped in for breakfast. Huevos Rancheros and Huevos a la Mexicana. Perfect! Opens super early! Everything was delicious and is made IN HOUSE!

Needs updating and the kitchen needs a deep clean. The service was great and the bathrooms where clean. There are large eating areas. The best food item I had was the retried beans. I was very unimpressed with the food. It was quite greasy. I ordered the Mexicali with appears fried but the grease was evident on my plate. If you like grease burgers and hangover food this place may be for you. Missing ceiling tile and stained floors made me feel like I was eating in a cafeteria. There is to much going on with the menu.
