Lots of seating outside which is great because it's covered by the sun! Our waitress was super sweet and constantly checking up on us and asking if we needed more cups. We got a tower of beer and some chips and salsa! Couldn't have asked for more better vibe when drinking with friends

Pupusas were delicious! I had a bean and cheese pupusa and a revuelta pupusa (I think cheese, pork rinds). The curtido (fermented cabbage) and sauce are always a great combination on the pupusa. My cousin had shrimp in like a red sauce and they were good as well. We ordered a beer and we got a cup with chili powder on the rim and it was my fav. We also had exceptional service by Brenda who attended us very well.

It was Cinco de Mayo and like all white people, I craved Mexican food. Wait, a second... that's every day. Okay, so it was a NORMAL day (that just happened to land on Cinco de Mayo) and I needed my daily taco fix. So I called the BF who agreed, a taco break was perfect. But where?Naturally, I chose the most obscure Mexican restaurant on the furthest point in town; La Cascada. Located inside Mercado Latino, it took a total of 20 minutes for the BF to get here, and 15 for me (I'm on Ca/Mohawk). We arrived at a nearly empty Mercado. I guess it's true, Mexicans don't celebrate Cinco de Mayo. We took a short tour of the Mercado and found La Cascada. There are several restaurants all lined around the fountain, similar to a true plaza in Mexico. Make sure you seat yourself in the right restaurant because there's several! We were greeted quickly and given chips and salsa. W placed our Michelada orders and they came out right away. The cups were large (see photo) and the drink was particularly nice and refreshing on a warm day. But, was it $7 worth? I'm just not sure. I ordered the aguachiles and the BF ordered Camarones a la Diabla. First, let it be known that these shrimp are NOT cleaned. I usually don't order shrimp at Mexican restaurants for this reason. It really freaks me out! The flavors were good and there was plenty of heat, which is a key component to aguachiles. But the uncleaned shrimp just weirded me out. In the end, our total was $47. Yeah, you read that right. Plus tip we were over $50 which is absolutely crazy to me for Mexican food. Was the food good? Sure, it was okay. But $50 good? Nope. I'd need a lot more Micheladas for that to happen.

They promised a kids hamburger and good food and delivered exactly that and more. Tonight we ordered the fish taco plate, beef fajitas, cheese pupusa and of course, the kids hamburger. The fish taco was visually wonderful. Nice thick piece of breaded fish. It was golden brown and delicious. It was topped with cabbage, a slice of avocado, a special sauce and a zesty pico de gallo. My husband thought that they were great. I got the beef fajita. It was super flavorful! I am a fan of char on my fajitas and this order did not disappoint. It could have used more onions, but I'm just a big onion person. The rice and beans were average. The cheese pupusa... it was generously filled with cheese and was a very nice large size. My husband and I shared it. I was a big fan of the cabbage slaw. It was excellently seasoned and paired. The kids hamburger was just that. A kids hamburger. My son ate it and then ran off to play Our waitress was wonderful. She was honest about her opinions on items that we asked about. She also kept an eye on us, but didn't interrupt us too much.I'd happily come back again. It was a great place to spend a Saturday evening.

I like trying new restaurant therefore we decided to try this restaurant. We ordered of the la cart menu so we can try a little bit of everything. We ordered a sope, asada taco, chicken enchilada, emapanada de camaron, and a pupusa. Everything was delicious. Everything was freshly made which is the reason why our took a while to be made. We didn't mind as we enjoyed the outdoor sitting. I truly enjoyed my meal and definitely would recommend this place. I didn't take any pictures because I was hungry and was limited on time. LolWe went on a Wednesday at 11:30am, so it was not busy at all. I would assume that it might get busy during the evenings and especially during the weekends.

I came here to visit a friend. The restaurant is in a sort of plaza that's Mexican themed. I came on a Friday and a mariachi band was playing. The restaurant itself is small but has lots of outdoor seating in a shady area. I ordered the Arroz Con Pollo, sauteed chicken in ranchera sauce over a bed of rice, and it was delicious. Food was great, service was quick and friendly, atmosphere was charming. I would definitely recommend.
