La Canasta

Gave this spot three stars because of the amount of shrimp in the coctel de camaron. Also, the store is clean and well organized with lots of other food and snack options. We only tried the coctel and we were not too impressed, the flavor was a little bland and the shrimp was not cleaned properly. Most likely we will not be back.

We've been delivering to this store for about half a year now and seriously this one has to be about my favorite. The employees and owners are really nice. I always see people heading here for their cocktails. If you visit you should try their natural drinks, the horchata and lemonade is really delicious.

This place has some of the best Coctail de camarron I have ever had.Plus they have some unusual things like frog eggs etc.

I think I've been going to the store many many years 40 something years but today I was really disappointed. I two Tostitos locos.... The fish weren't fresh and they were not deveined and you could taste the dirt, but that's not all I tried My Son t shrimp and they were bad. being a customer of many years I could calling the store to let them know not to serve those shrimps when no one answered. The phone was busy. I just want everyone to know bad shrimp can cause you become very ill. Or fatal

My first visit to this store.,it has a lot. Cooked carnitas by the pound, fresh chicharones, good assortment of cheese and sour creams, chorizo, some seafood and whole fish. I didn't walk the entire store as I had a ride waiting on me, but I saw freshly made fruit drinks, freshly sliced fruit, a good selection of fresh produce and canned good, as well as bagged items. The staff at the meat counter were so nice and accommodating. The cashier was super nice, with a big smile and welcoming words. I love this little store. Perfect for my antojitos.
