La Barca Famous Tortas

Second time coming and got a carnitas torta this time. So good, the salsas are very good with this. No complaints, it's worth it.

The food is good we had tacos de asada y adobada. We also got two sopes de adobada as well and they were extremely good. Also the prices for the food are good not too expensive.

If you're a Delano Native then you must of heard about La Barca's famous tortas. Either you heard about it from the original spot in Earlimart which most people will claim to be the best I'm still happy that there's one closer. La Barca's asada torta is well known within the community. Always usually consistent every time I go. Although they may be known for their tortas, they also have one of the best fish tacos around. I was actually surprised. If you're in town I would highly recommend those 2 options.

Stopped by for my first visit while I was in Delano for work earlier this week. Wasn't too familiar with the menu but the girl at the register was friendly and polite and gave me some input. I went for the Chile Verde burrito, I know this place is supposedly famous for it's Tortas but I can't pass on Chile Verde. The burrito was large for sure, it filled me up and I found it to be pretty flavorful. There could have been a little more spice but it was still fine as is. Price was right for what you get, I'm not sure about the Torta but the burrito gets a thumbs up from me. I saw someone at another table with a Torta, it looks small. Maybe it was just from a distance but it didn't look very big and I don't think it would have been enough to fill me up.

I definitely recommend this restaurant, the asada torta was fire ....you won't be disappointed...ignore all the negative feedback, is under new management...give them a try

Wanted to like this place as I've always loved discovering a terrific "hole in the wall" This place's food brings to mind a "hole in the ground" My torta was on stale bread, old meely tomato, no avocado as described by the cashier and the nastiest Grilled Asada meat I've had in a while. I did expect much for a taqueria outside of Delano but for $10 I was disappointedGod I wish I had read the reviews on this place before I ate here....YES!! I watched the phone ring and ring right next to the not very personable young person at the register... they won't answer the phone, lol !!!They miss about 10 orders during the time I sat there...The owner probably has no idea or reads these reviews

Place has definitely gone down since the pandemic. Seems like their quality of food has gone down and they give extra oil when you order. Not only that, but the men in the kitchen prey on the young girls in the front. I heard one guy tell a girl, possibly 18, why she doesn't give him a hug like how she gave a hug to a lady she knew. Disgusting

If you're craving some good tortas or tacos, this is the spot. Their asada is gas and so are the carnitas. Their bread comes from their bakery in Earlimart so it's always fresh and soft, so I recommend getting a tortas. Sadly they don't have super tortas anymore lol. Btw, their salsas are spicy af so if you don't handle heat well get everything without salsa, but get it on the side and put little by little cuz it does give it a lot of flavor. Just carefully.

Food was delicious but costumer service was horrible they don't even say hi or hello when we left they didn't say thanks or goodbye nothing asked for salsa she told me I'll bring it to your table and I asked for the second time and she put the salsa on the counter never said here it is nothing..

They never answer their phones, so I take my business elsewhere. It always happens. If you want to place an order you'd have to walk inside or don't bother calling.
