Klea Banquet Hall

I went to KLEA with the intention of using this venue for my sister's wedding. I was greeted rudely by Diana, she seemed upset about the amount of people who were brought in to see the venue (myself bride mother of bride and children). We asked basic questions about the venue and she seemed to not mind. Once the price of the venue was brought up I asked (being a KLEA member) about the KLEA member discount (knowing there is one). Diana responded very rudely, "what about it?" I ask what the discount was being a member. Diana stated she was only giving a discount to the bride or groom no one else. I asked Diana if she can tell me the discount regardless, she refused. We continued with the tour, at the end of the tour we asked about availability dates. Diana told us, I asked Diana if we can review the contract, she approved. I asked if she could get it, she then stated she didn't see a point but could get it if I'd like. I told her yes please. Diana changed her mind and said she was not going to show us unless we signed it. I explained I just wanted to review it before we signed anything she refused. My sister (bride to be) was too fed up to continue to speak with her and asked to leave.It was very apparent Diana did not like us when we entered the venue, the way she spoke to myself and my family was very rude. It also should not matter if the bride or groom is a member to get a discount. My gift for my sister's wedding is paying for the venue I am a KLEA member, my mother is a KLEA member, my brother in law is a KLEA member. Our family is Law Enforcement in Kern County.It is not only about the discount, the way Diana made my sister feel was very uncalled for. This was my sister's favorite venue however how can she enjoy her wedding when the person in charge of the venue was unpleasant for no reason?Venue is pretty customer service was awful.I would love a response from anyone at this venue.

We had our wedding here Oct 21st. It was amazing. The staff was always so friendly and willing to help, offer suggestions and made us feel important. They offer military and police discounts. Offered many suggestions. Bartenders were sweet. The security was professional. Would definitely recommend this place

Awesome place. Clean and a one stop location. Outdoor wedding, reception with bar. Saturday's book up early. Look at Friday's or Sundays. Not just for weddings. Family reunions, office party, retirement, xmas party. Monthly meeting location. Awesome capabilities. You won't be disappointed in this location.

I have personally attended several events at KLEA, including banquet dinners, funeral service, and a wedding. The building has recently been upgraded with granite counter tops, 3 LED flat screen TV's, a large bridal suite area, full kitchen, full bar, and huge back yard park area. Unprofessional, the worst experience renting this reception hall. The day of my daughters event the code the manager gave us to open the hall was wrong.I tried getting in touch with the manager called like 10 times and even texted but no response. Until one of my friends told me to call the Sheriff Department so I did and this was the only way manager called me back. Manager stated she had given us the wrong code on purpose so the decorator and we wouldn't get in a day before. Manager stated, "If it comes out of the goodness of our heart we will let people who rent this hall in on Friday to decorate." My husband and I went in this Friday 12/02/16 and the hall was decorated for an event. I believe that the manager is racist and our money counts any where, especially because we paid the full amount as any other customer. I let the manager know I would put a review on how rude and unprofessional she is and she claimed I threatened her which is not true. I have the freedom and right to let the public know how we were treated. Plus, to get back at us manager is taking longer to give us our refund deposit which should only have taken 3-4 business days. I would NOT recommend this hall to anyone. There are more beautiful halls where as a customer one is treated with equally and with respect.

I would recommend this venue as a nice and open venue.you can be outside or inside it has a bar area and a big green lawn I'm sure you can fit more than 200 guests

My husband and I were going all over town looking for venues for our wedding. I knew I wanted an outdoor venue but everywhere we went there was something I didn't like either the price was outrageous, you had to pick from their vendors for certain things, no parking or they had too many restrictions. I stumbled across this venue on Instagram and I decided to check it out for myself. We scheduled an appointment and the minute I saw it I knew that this was the place. The venue was just so beautiful outdoors just like we wanted. I like the fact that we had the choice to have it indoors and they have plenty of bathrooms and plenty of space. The people were very friendly. I was so happy that we went with this place. We were able to pick our own vendors, use their kitchen, they have a beautiful bar, and they had a bridal room. They also have plenty of parking so your guest don't have to park blocks away like at other venues. All of our guests complimented us on the venue and wedding. They also got new chairs the day before our wedding so we got to use them and they were beautiful. The price was reasonable and we absolutely loved it!! So if your looking for a wedding venue I highly recommend this place.
