I'm exploring new hobbies and one of them is properly and safely handling a gun. I am currently getting private lessons from a sweet gal named Jennifer and she has been awesome as my instructor. She is skilled, professional, and informative. The gun center itself is incredible. I love browsing their merchandise as well as getting an eye full with the many funny and cool looking things on display. Prices are great and they offer military discounts. I am enjoying what I have learned so far and I don't think I will ever get tired of absorbing all this gun center has to offer. Do yourself a favor and come here for your next purchase!

My issue with Kings Gun Center is it's complete lack of customer service. I recently did a firearm add-on certificate there to add a new pistol to my CCW. All went well until I was told that the owner was not there to sign the certificate, and that I could come back the next day, or they would email a copy to me the following day. Email was fine with me. I had not received an email within 3 days, so I called and spoke to an employee. Again Todd (the owner) was not there, but they would email the cert to me ASAP. An additional 3 days passed, and no email, and another call in. This time Todd was there, but he was busy, and they would get it signed and emailed. A week passed, and another call, and this time Todd was there, but in a class. I asked that he call me. The employee apologized and promised it would be taken care of. And another week passed, and another call in. This time Todd was there talking to another customer, but the employee promised to have him sign the certificate and call me. Nope...I gave up on Todd or anyone at KGC following through with anything they say, and finally went to a better firing range. I walked in, did my re-shoot, paid, and walked out with a signed certificate, all within 20 minutes.If you just want to shoot, KGC is nice. If you want good customer service, Fresno is only 30 minutes away.

@Todd, [Owner]Curious what your store policy is on denying consumers the purchase of a firearm under the specific scenario where DOJ returns background check with an "undetermined" verdict. I get the potential liability issues you may face as a business owner, but countering that understanding is the broader understanding of the detrimental, systemic social consequences of deny'ing rightful citizens their second amendment right if there isn't a explicit cause, reason, justification of denial.. It is my understanding that you have the right to operate within a grey area, considering the "specifically-unspecific" ruling from our DOJ and just want to understand why you chose to deny your consumer instead of the alternative. First of all Todd, I read back your number to two of your employees faces so don't say I called some other store and I have it on record. Second of all by the way I leave a store doesn't tell you what kind of person I am, the fact that you or your employees didn't apologize for the mix up but just looked at me like I was crazy pissed me off more. I suggest you and your employees take a class or something to help you guys out in the future when dealing with customers. P.S.I can drive however I want buddy!!

Called them at 5:30 PM to ask if they had open lanes because I noticed on their website a CCW class was being held. I was told there were plenty of lanes available. We drove 20 miles to go shoot. We arrived at 6:25. We walked in and the guy working the desk said they close the range at 6:30 because they had to clean the lanes. Why would a business post operating of 10:00 am-7:00pm and not allow people to shoot until 7:00? We wasted time and gas money driving down there and back. You need to make your hours of operation more clear on your website so customers have an actual idea of your true operating hours.Todd responded with an apology last night after I posted this review. I appreciated his quick response and his willingness to discuss this issue with his staff.
