My friend and I went to kindred spirits for drinks add food. It's located in the former Lee's wine bar location which we used to love.Although there is very limited parking on the street I found unmarked spots in the adjacent Hyatt hotel parking lot. If you park in the bottom at the end there are unmarked spots near an open opening where you can walk out to the street We arrived at 5:45 on a weekday for getting that happy hour was in place. Although the happy hour menu looked good we chose to order different appetizers. We started with a four wine flight of our choosing for $15. The waiter was very helpful and suggestions and answering any questions that we had. I was very happy with the wines that he suggested for me. The value of the glasses of wine for the tasting were up to $20, I think these were 4 ounce pour so 16 ounces of wine total. For dinner we shared the Burrata "bruschetta", I'm not exactly sure of the specific name but it's easy to spot on the menu. It was really tasty the only drawback was due to the tomatoes in it it did get liquidy but it probably enhance the flavor? We also ordered the basil chicken flatbread which was so nicely presented and it was so tasty! The bar/restaurant has an extensive menu and has a lot of space as they now also occupy the former Apollo Barber location. It was a great expansion for them I'm sure as they can accommodate a lot of people. I highly recommend you try this little local gem, and I wanna go back to the Brussel sprouts because the description on the menu was amazing

Kindred is my new favorite spot for wine in the SCV. Wine was great--I really enjoy the flight option. We have had the charcuterie twice now and enjoyed the cheese choices. The best part--they have gluten free flat bread and crackers! The prosciutto and fig flatbread was excellent. The servers are all knowledgeable about the wine and are very attentive. The owner is so sweet, too. I also love the overall ambience. Very inviting and cozy. They even have blankets in case you are chilly. Indoor and outdoor seating (sit by the fire on cold nights!) Check them out!

New, non-chain, places in Santa Clarita to eat and drink delicious things? Yes, please. We made a reservation at Kindred Spirits Wine Bar as soon as we learned it existed, any place that has a cheeseboard is a place that I want to go to and eat the cheese at. That doesn't mean that it's going to be good, but in this case it was really good.It still has that new restaurant vibe. Everything is clean, the staff is really attentive. There are lots of seating options, including tables and seats at the spacious bar, and a separate room as well. My wife and I sat at a table near the bar, the place wasn't packed on a Thursday night so we probably didn't need a reservation, but never a bad idea to have one.We had a flight of red wines, our favorite... And they were especially accommodating, giving us tastes of some of them before the flight came out so we could make the best possible choice. That was very generous of them, considering that the wine-tasting glasses are about the same size as the flight glasses. There are great and unique vegetarian options on their food menu, including the Podi Fries - perfectly cooked skin-on french fries coated with Indian seasoning. These were delicious we would come back just to eat these again. My wife and I also shared truffle Arancini, coded fried rice balls on a marinara sauce... A classic Italian dish, again delicious. And we had the Grilled Romaine with Avocado and Cotija cheese - Nice looking dish with little tortilla strips on top... Not my wife's favorite iteration of this kind of dish, but we both generally liked it.There are a slew of other vegetarian offerings, including Shuka, soups, and salads, flatbreads, and other small plates, such as brussels sprouts and a creamy Barada dish. The kindred lasagna looks pretty good too, so there are lots of opportunities, as vegetarians to come back try something different and have more of their quite extensive wine collection. We love this kind of place and are so happy that they've opened up here in Santa Clarita.

Came to kindred spirits when I heard that they are starting to serve brunch! I love this place for so many reasons: atmosphere, service, wine selections, food, dessert, fireplace AND now they have brunch! I had the California Benedict and it was delicious, a perfectly poached egg on top of fresh avocado and tomato, laid on a freshly made biscuit! Of course I also had to indulge in bottomless mimosas which were a perfect addition to my brunch! Next Sunday I'm coming here to try to the lemon soufflé French toast

A Hidden Gem in Valencia!Kindred Spirits at the town center in Valencia is truly a hidden treasure! From the moment we stepped inside, we felt welcomed by the warm, vibrant atmosphere. The owner, Diane, was an absolute delight to meet, and our waitress, Sarah, took exceptional care of us.Originally, my boyfriend and I just planned to stop in for a quick drink and some quiet time together, but we ended up chatting with Diane the whole evening. Hearing her story about creating Kindred Spirits was inspiring--she shared her vision for a place that would offer something truly unique to the area. It's clear she poured her heart and soul into this spot; every detail is intentional, and the design reflects her passion and commitment. The ambience here? A perfect 10/10. And the food and drinks? Easily an 11/10! We were only passing through from NYC, but next time we're in Valencia, Kindred Spirits--and Diane--will be at the top of our list.

Wow! Finally made it here for dinner and wine with some visiting family. I can't say enough about how excellent everything was... From the food to the wines to the service!Christine, our server, was amazing and is reason enough to return. We loved the wine selection - especially the flights where you can create your own 4 wine tasting. The food was incredible. I loved my "soup flight" which was perfect on a cool evening. The flatbread, pate & arancini were a welcome throwback of our favorites. The ambiance, room and general vibe were great - can't wait to return. (Especially after looking at the brunch menu!)

First time at the Kindred Spirits and won't be our last. We had lunch elsewhere and stopped by here for a glass of wine. Ended up getting two flights, two glasses and dessert. The food menu sounds delicious. We'll definitely need to go back for dinner sometime. Happy to see this place open. Loved the ambiance.

Wine bar - YES!Okay, you don't like wine, does that mean you shouldn't go? Well...that depends. Do you love good food? Then, by all means, drink something besides wine and savor some of the best food in SCV.Let's start with the sliders. Melt in your-mouth miniature filet slabs on a delectable bun accompanied by horseradish creme sauce.Did I tell you how great the food was yet?Oh yeah, how about the deconstructed lasagna? Packed with flavor and topped with a parmesan crisp! I didn't even mention the flatbreads, did I?So you don't like wine? Well then go to Kindred Spirits for the food! BUT, if you enjoy wine - - - you'll be in heaven!
