Kern River Brewing Company - The Original Pub

Amazing place with lovely patio and beautiful lodge-style interior. Everything is about the area, history and connection to the community. I appreciate this attention and contributions to the land. Everything is made of wood inside. Great place for stopping by on the way to Sequoia National Park, King Canyon or Kern River campgrounds. The beer is great! There is a choice for everyone: from stouts to IPA, from sours to lagers. Attention to the details is what make this place special. I order flies and they were presented in the kayak-trays. Isn't it awesome. Food is also good. Service was great. Fast, friendly and helpful.

One of the best part of a trip to Kern River is making my first stop the Keen River Brewery. Whether I'm hiking, camping, river rafting or just visiting, I bookend my arrival and departure with a few cases of beer from this local brewery and a great meal. I usually get the Big Daddy or Bleu Mushroom burger.Enjoy!

My husband enjoyed his burger! I didn't care for my fish tacos. Too much cabbage and sauce on the tacos. The beers were good. The vibe was good, it was whiskey flat weekend so lots of people. They were packed but I thought they did a good job on handling everyone.

Great food and even better beer. This place is totally worth the drive. If you can make it to this brewery, you gotta try not only their wings but their cheese curds oh my God they were great.

Came in for a bite to eat and got some burgers and tried their taco special. Was filling and good. The place was busy on a Monday evening. Happy hour from 4-6pm $1 off . They were unfortunately out of their root beer. If your in town and want a cool place to come eat and drink this is a great spot to check out. Dogs allowed too! Their are two restaurants joined together, both same menu. Friendly staff! Try their brews!

Service is good they are friendly. Outdoor seating in the back for dogs. - Sour Beer 5/5Yummy refreshing sour beer. - Fish & Chips 2.7/5Pretty greasy, thought it was OK. They do give a lot. - Chili 1.8/5Very beany, it wasn't what I was expecting. I'd skip this. - Cheese Curds 1.3/5Doesn't come with marinade sauce just a ranch dip. Cheese curds were popped and wasn't really stretching. Parking lot is pretty filled with locals and visitors.

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while. Glad I did. First off the location is amazing, we sat outside on the patio and what a view! I ordered the blonde ale and partner order a flight! We both really enjoyed all of them. We also ordered the fish tacos- they were just ok- probably won't order them again. We also ordered the bacon burger which was delicious and shared a Mediterranean chicken sandwich which was also delicious. Overall a great place to visit!

Ordered take-out, didn't get a chance to see the inside. Looked nice and cool to hang out in.They brew their own beer, yum. We ordered their bacon cheeseburger and the bleau cheese burger, both were perfectly seasoned, thick and juicy, along with plenty of fresh, lightly salted waffle fries. So, so good!Customer service over the phone was very helpful and polite. We will definitely come back when in town again.

Cute little spot in town, was thankfully open Christmas Eve. The brews are perfect, wide selection and waitstaff is friendly. Only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the pulled pork, there was a lot of it but it was pretty plain. My companions ordered the burgers though and they were delicious.

We got there at 11am on a Tuesday. A server immediately came out and asked us if we wanted the heaters on, which we did. Had to eat outside bc we have a dog. I got the Class V Stout. Delicious! We ordered cheese curds. Delicious! We ordered the Tuesday special: pastrami sandwiches. Delicious! I then ordered the bourbon barrel stout. WOW! Bought two 4-packs to go. Everything about this experience was excellent, especially the food and service.
