I have now been waiting over an hour half naked for a biopsy in a cold room. I think the provider is good, but so far a really bad experience.

Whoever is answering the phone calls there is not well trained. I was disconnected from the call three times and the fourth automatically transferred me to a voicemail. I worked in health care for more than thirty years and this is totally unacceptable.

For two years I have dealt with the diagnosis and aftermath of an aggressive form of prostate cancer. A radical prostatectomy did not extract all of the cancer as it had spread into my bladder neck. Radiation treatments designed to attack the remaining cancer did significant damage to my ureters, resulting in repeated infection, kidney disease and radiation cystitis. After 5 hospitalizations in 5 months, I was referred to Dr. Djaladat at USC. In March of this year, Dr. Djaladat performed reconstructive surgery, opening the way to much more normal kidney and bladder function. While it is too soon to assess the long-term success of this procedure, there is no way I could ask for better care. Whether in person or (in this age of COVID-19) virtually, Dr. Djaladat and his staff demonstrate the utmost care. For a surgeon of his stature to take the time to genuinely listen and explain everything that is happening in my body, I find that exceptional. Though he is only in Bakersfield once/monthly, his Bakersfield staff provides up to date information and the same exceptional care. Finally, I'm one who deals with a certain anxiety when it comes to the cancer diagnosis and all that has accompanied that diagnosis. At Keck USC/Bakersfield I have found care providers who are tremendously gifted at putting those anxieties to rest... at least for the time I am under their care. I highly recommend Dr. Djaladat and his excellent team.

I went with my husband today to see Dr. Huffman at Keck Medical offices. The front desk girl was very friendly and polite. The doctor was on schedule which was wonderful. Dr. Huffman was great. He was so reassuring and knowledgeable and figured out what the issue was. He explained everything in detail and we are very happy with Dr. Huffman. I highly recommend him for your next urology appointment. His background and qualifications are amazing.

I have been going to this office for months. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Dr.Huffman is the best urologist in Bakersfield hand down he always answers all my questions and takes his time with me. The office is very organized and welcoming. I refer all of my friends to Dr.Huffman!

I cannot say the same for USC Keck at the home office at USC Los Angeles. Bakersfield could use some basic training. USC Keck in Los Angeles is 5 stars. I will take the drive to Los Angeles for superior medical doctors, hospital and service. No I am not.callng back a representative from USC Keck Bakersfield to get an insincere apology from a manager. Spend your time training employees instead.

Well I would like to know how you obtain an appointment. My husband has a true medical problem, our Dr., has sent over a referral letter. My husband called and was told the referral letter will be reviewed, and if he is accepted as a patient, he will be called.I find this totally unacceptable. When someone is in need, how many hoops do they need to jump through? What has happened to medical care?

My husband has done his follow up visits at the Bakersfield location after under going a successful surgery for an aggressive prostate cancer at USC Keck LA three years ago. Very convenient (I person & telemedicine) & great physicians. His current urologist is Daniel Park, MD. A wonderful bedside manner - very caring, knowledgeable & personable.

I had a hip replaced at Keck in LA and it was excellent but they purchased the practice of a urology doctor in Bakersfield. For my regular checkups it was great to see the different doctors but when I had an emergency I had to go to ER and then when I needed to see the urologist, I would have had to drive to LA. If you want a Bakersfield urologist don't go to this one because they only come to town once in a month. I found mine in Bakersfield and done with Keck

The medical clinic of usc keck on stockdale hwy doesn't even deserve one star! If you or your loved one values your health do NOT go to this facility! The receptionists do not care about the patients, they don't answer the phones or call in prescriptions in a timely manner. They spend time chatting while patients wait for days to get an appt or suffer waiting for their prescriptions! The LVN is horribly unprofessional and does not care about the patients. The Drs overschedule patients and don't practice covid protocols! The whole staff needs to be fired ASAP
