My boyfriend and I ate here tonight and the food did not disappoint! Upon walking in, the place was very clean and we were instructed to choose anywhere to eat. We decided upon the bar! The waitress took our drink orders almost immediately and the whole ordering process was simple! We got cucumber octopus sunonomo, baked green mussels, clam miso soup (yum! delicious!) and a few rolls. All the food was amazing and fresh and we especially liked the salmon sushi. You can't go wrong with the tempura rolls! I'm sad we're moving out of Palmdale because this was one of the best places I've eaten sushi at!

This is one of two go to spots our family has for sushi and I must say this last time missed the mark a bit. Service is a 10/10 always. I believe our servers name was Riley and he was a sweetheart. Cracked jokes with us all night. Our favorite roll here is the rose roll and the various DLT's. We've been trying new menu items on our recent visits and they simply miss the mark. This last one was their lobster roll with the lobster dumped on top. It sounds and looks great but just fell short. Lacked in flavor and uniqueness. Wish they offered chef specials where you could just tell the chef what kind of fish you wanted, fresh or fried, spicy or mild and they could creat something fun for you. Regardless I'd still recommend them and we'll be back to try something new next time.

I feel bad for the owner as his/her workers do not take care of the business. They're not happy and it shows. I saw at least 5 employees working and with just 1 table, it's surprising for them to be this slow (7 PM/ Oct 15)We're a party of 3 adults, 1 toddler, and there's literally just us and no other customers - took 30 mins for 2 basic rolls, 2 fried appetizers, 1 miso soup to come out. They were actually just sitting on the counter so I said if I should just grab them and they said they'll bring it. On top of it, they missed my husband's order which are Tuna sashimi and deep fried roll which we thought just needed a little more time, but we're almost done so I came up to the 2 female servers chitchatting on the corner, but the server who took our order said that didnt order the roll and the sashimi should be coming out soon, and NO, she did not say it apologetically (or even just nicely) - but instead with her eyebrows up, none of the 2 female servers were accommodating. They could really use some customer service classes or maybe find a different job where being nice is not a requirement. Or just hire new employees who cares enough about your business that they will make every dining experience positive to make sure customers come back.

William, our server, was a professional. He was attentive, pleasant, accommodating, detail-oriented, and experienced. Our dinner here was definitely improved from last time because of him. Everyone's favorite roll was the Kaze roll, so we had to order two. The only roll everyone thought was forgettable was the blue ocean (topped with tons of blue crab)-- it was bland. I think their portions are great, and presentation is nice.

I am having mixed feelings sharing my favorite sushi spot because maybe it'll get more busy. But Kaze sushi deserves recognition for its fresh and high quality seafood used in their sushi. Every bite is unlike any other. Each dish brought out shows they strive to provide the best for their customers along with a couple smiles. Ambience is truly intimate and comfortable. Perfect to bring a date or a friend. If I could, I'd give them 10/10

Miguel is the best!He definitely knows his sushi, & makes the best ones. We came in unsure of what we wanted to eat & all Miguel asked was for us to list which fish we usually like to eat, after listing he put in work.We were definitely happy with the rolls he chose & made for us. I decided to take myself out on a solo lunch date and chose Kaze in Palmdale. I have been to the Lancaster restaurant (whichI loved) but not Palmdale. I loved the atmosphere! From the dim lighting, to the music playing and the customer service. William greeted me and told me I could sit anywhere I'd like. I chose a booth and he quickly came to my table and took my drink order. He promptly came back with water and told me about their lunch specials. There were so many delicious options, I couldn't choose. I decided to order a drink and asked his recommendation for something not too sweet. He suggested grape soju. When I tried it, it took me back to my childhood (not the alcohol part lol). It tasted like white grape juice without the sugary element. It was well balanced. I decided to try a lunch special and I ordered the Mexican roll and spicy tuna roll with a salad. He heard how much I love tuna and said he would ask the chef to add a tuna mix inside the roll. The chef decided to give me a 911 because it has the tuna mixture and he added orange mayo (I've never tried orange mayo and had to try it!). The chef overheard that I liked spicy so this was the perfect swap. The salad came first and it was gorgeous! It was fresh with crispy lettuce. The dressing was very refreshing. I loved the ginger flavor. The rolls came out quickly and looked beautiful. I loved that the 911 roll had everything I wanted in a roll: tuna, spice and creamy flavorful mayo. The spicy tuna roll was so good! I love that such a common roll stuck out to me. There was a waitress there who brought my salad, I unfortunately didn't get her name but she was great as well. She also checked on me. I was very happy with my first experience at the Palmdale Kaze. But I will say this, I'll mainly be back because of the customer service. And the chef hearing what I liked and making sure I received what I was hoping for. Great job, Kaze! You gained a new customer.

If I could give 0 I would. I called ahead of time and asked if they take reservations and they notified me ahead of time they couldn't but we should call the day of to give them a heads up of the party for a birthday dinner. The first time I called the lady was super nice. Then today...I show up a little before dinner at 7:30pm and the server had the worst stank ass attitude and told me that people were already getting their food and honestly, I don't know what that had to do with me... she said she couldn't seat us and it wasn't busy at all. Then, she said it would be 40- an hour until they sat us. I agreed at first because Kaze sushi is so good but since the server had 0 ounce of customer service or friendliness they lost out on a nice big dinner sale of 10-12 people. Very disappointed Kaze.
