Best beer, pub food and service in central California. We try to go every Saturday and have never been disappointed. We love Kaweah. We take a growler of the best IPA home every week.

The family was a little too early to my nephew's party, so we stopped here to kill some time. My nephew had mentioned this brewery numerous times. It is a small place, located in an industrial warehouse setting. About 6 beers on tap when we went. Tried their porter and it was solid and my wife enjoyed her cider too. Looking forward to trying their pumpkin beer release for this year.

Good beers. I had the apricot sour which was subtle. My spouse had the Holy Toledo IPA which she liked. I have tasted the Neva say Neva at a local restaurant which was good. The place itself if average. Nothing to write home about. Pretty small, limited seating, a bit crowded, no AC but huge industrial fan. There's no food here so plan accordingly. Parking is limited in the parking lot but there is street parking. They are opening a restaurant/tasting room in Visalia which I'm excited to visit as soon as it's open. Talking to the bar tender it sounds like they are planning to serve gourmet burgers.. however does not sound like they will have any plant based options... (and the crowd says "boooooo"). To the business owner.. impossible burger or beyond meat please!

Traveling the 99 this is a great way to break up your drive. Take your exit, turn left and your there. Hours are Thursday-saturday which are perfect for weekend travelers. A small brewery/tap room parked within a small business park. The hours are very limited but well worth the visit. Plenty of space for seating. You can watch the boys assemble the brews. Beers selection range from Ambers to Stouts. Not just IPAs. It's a pretty simple layout with friendly service. Bring some snacks and stretch your legs before going further. Cheers and stay safe my friends.

Ok Tulare County...I see y'all! Very impressed with Kaweah Brewing. The Slauncher is great and beat Pliny in the people's choice award this year. Wouldn't pick it over a Pliny but still really enjoyed it. Can't wait to see what else Kaweah brews!

This is truly a hidden gem. I now in Orange County; wife is from San Diego, so needless to say we know good beer when we taste it. We first visited this place a couple months ago when visiting my parents. Now we're back, and this trip only affirmed our initial impressions. Between the two trips, we sampled basically everything on the menu, but Slauncher really stood out. I can see why it gets all the buzz. The atmosphere is pretty cool too, and the head brewmaster was on hand both visits and happy to talk shop. This place has a ton of potential, and I'd love to see it do well in this town. We'll be back!

Stopped in on my way to Merced CA. Thought the name was cute and liked that others wrote that the people were friendly.Beers first- got a flight of all 7 on tap. I liked most of them. Loved the chocolate milk stout. Had good frothy texture and actually tasted like dark chocolate. Their sour was great. It was a gentle sour that didn't feel like drinking vinegar (i like sours too but some are too much). The IIPA Slauncher was nice. The blonde was the only one I found a bit boring. I'm sure it's great on a hot day but I passed through on a cool autumn day. Interior- yes, small. Probably seats 25-30. I got there when they opened so it wasn't a problem.Food- taco stand in the parking lot today! Service- friendly and attentive. I got to share an informative and nice conversation about the beer. Apparently they have a blood orange and tangerine sour coming and a chocolate raspberry stout happening soon. Yum! Both sound great. Definitely want to come back.I also learned that they ship bottles to the coast, like Paso Robles, Pismo, etc. If you're in that area, look them up!

I made it into Kaweah like a fireball, full of energy and enthusiasm...which few probably normally say when venturing into a town like Tulare. Being a Fresno native tho, Tulare is like Fresno's younger brother so there is nothing but love for the cen cal towns that make our region special. I've been a fan of their brews for a hot minute (Slauncher, holy toledo, i.p'ed series, hazward etc) so it was a treat to pop in the taphouse to show some love. Overall, my impression of the brewery was that it was laidback, yet inviting. It has that warehouse feel that is unque to the valley. Met some locals, munched some pretzels...and overall loved ever minute! Kaweah for the win!
