Juanita's Bakery

To me this place is a hidden gem. I'm not in the Delano area often but the past couple of times I have been I've noticed this bakery. Today I finally checked it out and was so pleasantly surprised! Everything tasted so fresh and was so buttery and perfect. This bakery totally reminds me of the panaderias I've been to in Mexico! The conchas are as big as your head and are so soft and spongey! The loaf cakes were some of our favorite items. They come in a huge assortment of flavors. Each flavor was so moist and light we ended up having to buy a few to go for my boyfriends family. They do serve some lunch items like tortas, burritos, and tacos which I do plan on trying next time I'm in Delano. I will definitely return to this place and recommend it to all my family and friends. Check them out if you are in the area!

Today, I walked in to purchase a last minute cake for my daughter's birthday. It had been such a long week and I had completely forgotten about her cake. I walked in expecting to buy a simple cake. To my surprise, they had a cake that just needed to be decorated and they asked me what I would like on it. I asked for baby blue frosting, her name, and maybe a Stitch figure. They went above and beyond! They made the most perfect Stitch cake for my girl. It only took five minutes, but it looks like a million bucks. I am forever grateful for the time they took to ensure I walked out with an amazing cake. Thank you for helping a tired mom make her daughter so happy! You have my business forever!
