Char (the owner) is not only very CHARming but also so helpful and kind! She stayed open later than her usual hours just so I could get my files printed. Plus, the quality of her prints - especially the color ones - is extremely good.Char really is one of a kind sweet lady. Thank you again :)

Despite being a small town business Johnstones beat the prices of Bakersfield printers and they have very knowledgeable and friendly and quick service! Very accommodating!!! Thank you Johnstones.

Went to get a simple print job done on 11 x 8.5 in PDF format. At the time she(the owner) convinced me my file was not formatted correctly to be printed horizontally on 8.5 x 11. I know now that she has control of this setting from the printer. Anywho, I leave, check the file, and come back with 11 x 17 so that I can get two copies of my image on one piece. I formatted the PDF this way so all you'd have to do is press print and let 'em fly. She claimed the same problem, but, as I stood from the counter and looked at her computer screen I could see that she was choosing 8.5 x 11 and when I told her the paper size was wrong she claimed somehow she could not print my PDF FILE. When She said it's not the right format I asked what format would be correct and she says "PDF." SO I LEAVE AGAIN. I make the adobe acrobat file sqeaky clean and bring my laptop with me just in case. THIRD TIME IVE BEEN BACK. When I get back she shows me two copies of what I originally wanted. I tell her these are perfect, but, I have my own 8.5 x 11 card stock that i'd like to print on. She purposefully changes the settings the PDF settings to Black and White when it clearly says CMYK in the top corner of my image! Then she prints as photo copy. I nearly started pulling my hair out. I asked her why she was changing the settings when the file was set to print. This is when I realized that she didn't want to do the job from the get go. She paid me lip service and LIED TO ME. Why would you own a copy shop and not know the language behind basic PRINT terminology. Wasted my time and on top of that purposefully made it difficult so i'd give up and she get rid of me. Never. Never from a Christian have I EVER!
