From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.The sushi here is next-level. The fish is unbelievably fresh, and every roll we tried was expertly crafted. The spicy tuna roll had just the right amount of heat. You can tell they really focus on quality ingredients.

This is a place to go if you like sushi and want a great atmosphere for date night. The service is always great and the food is superb. If you are in the Rosedale area they have another on Calloway I do believe. The food and service is great there too.

This place really let me down after having higher expectations. Service was ok. Our waitress looked tired and didn't really come check on us. Food was awful. We ordered 3 rolls and steak fried rice. Fried rice had NO streak. Pieces were so small it looked like tiny pieces of rice. Rice was 1/10. Next my roll.... I ordered under the baked section a volcano roll. My roll was disgusting and completely raw !! The other rolls tasted ok but can tell ingredients were not fresh. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone or go back myself. Ambiance was calm and relaxing . Never again. Paid 85 dollars for awful food.

Walking in the restaurant has a cozy feel to it. Not to loud. We did end up sitting outside. So if you didn't make a reservation you WILL have to give them your ID for patio seating. Which wasn't a problem for us. They have high chairs too if you want to bring your little one like I did. I was in the mood for some sushi and this place really hit the spot, Everything was delicious.

The lunch special was truly a great value. We got the two rolls and a salad. We did add an extra miso but the price was perfect. This was hands down the best sushi I ever had. It was super fresh and did not leave a filmy taste in my mouth. The server was wonderful and actually recommended the lunch special. Noami was such a wonderful server she was super delightful. This is definitely going to be my sushi spot from now on.

There is a parking garage 1/2 block south. It is on the corner of Eye & 19th street. Lots of seating both inside and outside. I was seated quickly and my waitress came over right away to take my drink order. I started with the garlic edamame and the mixed veggie and shrimp tempura. Loved the big chunks of garlic in the edamame. The coating on the tempura is a bit thick for my taste, though a good variety. They have a fairly extensive menu, which was nice. I then ordered two rolls, the rainbow roll and the Pinky Funky. Both were loaded with fish. The sauce on the Pinky is really good. More of that please. I will definitely contribute back.

Very fresh fish. Delicious homemade wasabi (I had never had an opportunity to eat that before!). I appreciated that they had gluten-free soy sauce. Nice night-life vibe that I had not expected. They allowed us to stay and talk 'til the place closed for the night. I will go back each time I visit Bakersfield.

I had reserved seats for two through yelp for valentines day almost two weeks in advance only to find out they had cancelled everyone's reservations day of. they didn't have the courtesy to let us know. we still went but had to wait 40 minutes to get in. sushi was good & makes up most of my rating, but service wasn't the best. it was busy so I didn't expect much, but not offering to refill our drinks during the almost hour and half we were there is disappointing. i had higher hopes for this place.

My 1st time last week eating at Jin Sushi. I had the bento box with chicken teriyaki and it was a perfect amount and you'll get full. All the items in the bento box was delicious. I like the music, the waitress was kind and downtown is looking better especially with this restaurant as a great spot to eat.
