Jenny's Cafe

Jenny's cafe is located in Delano and a great place to eat. The service was great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the free chips and salsa to start the meal. The food was delicious - I ordered the chille relleno plate with corn tortillas and on the side I ordered a carne asada taco. The chille relleno was my favorite thing, and it cameWith rice and beans. The ambiance as nice too. The dining area was clean and spacious. The decorations were cool too. Thanks Jenny's cafe for the experience!

This restaurant I found on the Yelp app on my visit to the Valley.Looking for a good place for Mexican authentic food then search no more, this place is amazing. I could taste the home made Mexican flavors.Service was excellent and very friendly I felt like I was at grammas house having almuerzo.Ambiance is casual, was here for lunch so not sure if they offer for dinner or if entertainment is offered like mariachi. Do check it out as is very traditional restaurant with excellent food.

Patio is dog friendly! Great service and good food. Great place if you are driving up or down on the 99.

The best food in the area. Period. I've been eating here for a few years now, when passing through the area. Jenny's is recommended by everyone in the area. It's got a seafood chimichanga that is awesome! And every plate from Coctail Camaron to fajitas is great. Excellent portion sizes and the staff are always friendly. I'd recommend Jenny's to anyone in the area.

O Jenny's... what was once the crown jewel of Delano has turned into a hit or miss restaurant. Don't get me wrong, I and my family still love Jenny's like the uncle who only shows up at funerals and Christmas. There have been a few changes since the first time I was introduced and it's changed my view of this restaurant. I find myself most often looking for good food in Delano on Sundays after church. We are not alone in this search for good food as there is a 85-90% chance you will see someone from the church service here. As mentioned before, Jenny's has become a bit hit or miss but when it hits it's a home run. While the consistency of flavor really depends on who is working on the kitchen that day I think it's still a top 5 choice when deciding what's for dinner.

They ran out of rice or hadn't made it yet so the chilli verde burrito tasted a bit off. Also it wasn't spiced up very much. Decent crowd 8am Friday. We called in pick up, but it was so nice inside we stayed to eat and they gave us plates. Cj liked his chicken cheese quesadillas. The coffee was good. Next time I'll get breakfast. They looked good.

I'm from Los Angeles and every time I visit Delano I have to stop by and get lunch from Jenny's cafe food is great excellent service Thank you guys for great food and great service keep it up

Best food in Kern County! Original salsas, fresh chips, homemade everything! From Breakfast burritos to Chile verde, it's all great!

This was the best meal I had while on the quick California trip!Our clients choose this restaurant. The chips and salsa were fresh with excellent flavors.Very traditional Mexican cuisine.My Sopa and Tostada were excellent as were the rice and beans. Fast Friendly Service.

Probably been six months. We got in earlier for lunch, was greeted and at our usual table.Ordering was simple enough, I didn't see what I wanted so I just ordered it no problem. The girls ordered cheese enchilada with rice and beans, mom piped in and asked for the same with a chili relano I ordered my goto Carnitas burrito wet with rice and black beans. The food was out quick and hot...ah except my burrito and our side of guac. The guac was very fresh avocadoa monkey dish full but guac it wasn't...no cilantro, onion, peppers, lime...okay. My burrito finally arrived as my guests were finishing lunch...sorry the cook made a small instead of the large burrito, he's making another one.Ah no thanks this is enough burrito. The pork was very good no black beans in it as I had requested but pinto beans...okaysodas were happily refilled and more chips and salsa served. Very good salsa, we daren't try the fried ice cream. Sure we'll be back it is what it is a good Mexican restaurant at lunchtimecranking out food thats good.foodguy-martin
