Highly recommended to make a reservation or you may not get in that night. We seen many people turned away, who showed up without a reservation. Moving on, from the moment we arrived, the bar and wait staff set the tone for the evening with their warm, accommodating demeanor. The bartenders attentiveness and hospitality made us feel welcome and well-cared-for throughout the visit.The menu at Jake's is a standout, offering a wide variety of options that cater to different tastes. We opted for the pasta and the prime rib, both of which exceeded expectations. The pasta was perfectly cooked, with a flavorful sauce that struck a balance between richness and freshness. The prime rib, a hallmark of any good steakhouse, was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection, showcasing Jake's commitment to quality and taste. Each bite was a testament to the skill and care put into their dishes.Though we were too full to sample the desserts in house. (However, our friendly neighbors allowed us to take pictures of both the chocolate lava cake, and the mini Keylime cheesecake .)the menu was undeniably tempting. The chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream particularly caught our eye, and it seemed to be a house-made specialty. Its presentation at neighboring tables only added to its allure, hinting at a decadent, indulgent finale for those with room to spare. This is why we got one of each to go and ate it soon as we got home, and we tore through that thing. Great ambiance! Cozy, classic old school vibe. We had the best lunch here and look forward to coming back for dinner. Our server was helpful and attentive. Now for the food. Freshly baked sourdough bread with butter, the best Caesar salad full of freshly grated parm cheese paired with Italian Wedding soup. We could have stopped there but we added some Mahi tacos and the best burger in town and was not disappointed. Topped off with their lemon pound cake with custard dessert. We will be back!!!

Service was good, got seated right away in a cute little corner in the back. Food was amazing and the portions of entrees were huge! Expect to take home leftovers or maybe share an entree!

I was visiting a friend in Tehachapi and this was close to the house. I would definitely recommend this place. Food was excellent. Service was great. And the restaurant itself was very clean and inviting. I got the chicken Marsala with veggies and my friend got the soup. Delicious

New in town, I had dinner here for the first time and it was exceptional! I had a small Caesar dinner salad and loved the dressing, and I also had a top sirloin steak with a baked potato. I like my steaks medium well done, and it's really hard to get that cooked properly, but this steak was perfection. It's very expensive to eat here, but if you've can afford it, it's definitely worth what it costs. The service was also outstanding. Our server was very friendly and attentive, but not overly so. All in all, this was a great dining experience.

Love when I'm immediately greeted, great hostess. No reservations (but recommended). Espresso martini was perfect, Old Fashion was smooth and tasty. We traveled from Palmdale to eat here, very nice looking spot, very charming. Why 4 starts. My peeve is when there's no complimentary bread. We ordered sourdough bread, came sliced n warm w butter, yum. But I just like when it's part of the experience. We'll be back, overall the trip was worth it.

This place has a full bar and a nice comfortable restaurant. I got lucky that my friend wife knew the owner and was able to accommodate us to have Christmas Eve dinner here. This place was sold out and was by reservation only.We had gotten lucky cause our waitress was very happy and accommodating for us.I had told my friends that I would be buying their dinners. I ordered a salad and the Salmon dinner and Dave wife ordered the Christmas special Diana Steak dinner with salad and Dave ordered the Filet Mignon with a salad, he also had a couple of beers and his wife had a couple of cocktails, I didn't drink any alcohol, since I had a two hour drive back home.I insisted that we each ordered a different dessert, the desserts were really good, although the menu says they have Carrot Cake, but they no longer have that. I had ordered the mixed berry tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and Dawn ordered a slice of cheese cake and Dave had the Molten Lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, we each sample each other's and then ate our own dessert. Dave's dessert was just way too rich, but at the same time very sweet and tasty. I really was happy with my dessert, it was just right and not too sweet.I highly recommend this place when you are up in the small town of Tehachapi or passing through.

Been there a few times since I lived here their steaks are always on point but my go to is the calamari. Can't find it like that anywhere else I've been.

This is the best food I've had in years!! There were 6 of us so we all got to sample each others meals as well as a variety of appetizers and we loved each and every delicious bite! The portions were very generous as well. Our waitress was awesome!, friendly, attentive and eager to please. The atmosphere is relaxed and kicked back without a lot of noise. Prices are competitive and take my word for it, their food is worth every penny!!
