The standard in Asada fries! I've been getting Asada fries here for years. They do a great job, and aim to please. When I call the sweet lady that answers knows my order: I say "Asada fries" and she replies with "extra avocado?" and it's always a yes. Their verde sauce is always fresh and on point. I've never had a meal I didn't love from J's! The shop is decorated festively, and they have one of those mix/match soda fountains where you can choose from dozens of options. Highly recommend!

great portion for the specials. 4 stars cuz the Asada Tacos were a bit on the salty part, but we relieved it with the rice and beans. Haha!Would definitely come back here for after hour food :)

Having recently moved to the area, we were on the prowl for the best Mexican food. We had tried two restaurants but hadn't quite found our spot ...UNTIL we found Jimenez Taco Shop. To start, the restaurant has a fun cheery atmosphere and is super clean! The staff was very friendly and explained a couple menu items, such as the Viking Fries and Viking Burrito, which I'm sure are quite popular with the high school students across the street. My daughter had carne asada fries, while I opted for the chicken fajita protein bowl. Both were delicious, generous portions and super fresh! They were also very accommodating in getting our picky order right. If your looking for excellent, authentic Mexican food, look no further! Note- restaurant is hidden next to Stacked by Vallero. Sadly, we did not get any pictures because we gobbled our food too fast!

When they have Chile rellenos, order them! They are the best in the Central Valley. The carne asada is delicious. We usually order the protein bowls.

Unbelievably good!! A++++++++Basically home cooked food with quality ingredients. Prices are ridiculously good. I work in the area 1 day a week and I look forward to eating fresh style Mexican food days in advance. The school is nearby, so if you're there at just after 12:00 PM M-F just be aware there will likely be a wait. Everything is good here. I love the aqua chilles when they have them as well as their ceviche.

Your goin to need a spoon Very mid burrito instantly fell apart both burrito's very little chillie in burrito almost not there an for $21 not worth it rice was also over seasoned

I go to Kingsburg to a friends often, and I ordered from here asada burritos, Viking nachos, and 3 street tacos with rice and beans , the service was amazing. I will be back to this Mexican place! I like it a lot . Very clean as well

Possibly the best tacos for the best price in Kingsburg? Heck yeah, I'd say so. I love getting the carne asada and al pastor tacos. The service is friendly, it's in a nice location, and they even got one of those Coke Freestyle Machines! Absolutely love this restaurant and their staff, very consistent quality in food and service!
