J & M Events

I'm writing this review not only as a Client Bride but also as a Venue Partner. I'm the Director at The Majestic Downtown, which is one of the top Wedding Venues in LA. I was introduced to J&M a few years ago while working together for a previous client's event. I was blown away by George's dedication to his clients and the impeccable quality of his work. Since then J&M has been our preferred AV company for countless happy clients. I meticulously sought after J&M Events when I was planning my own wedding and let me tell you...THEY GAVE ME A DREAM WEDDING!There's no words to express how incredibly happy my husband and I are and how grateful we are that we had J&M, George, Nick, and the entire team from the Lighting Tech to the Audio Tech that was on-site during my wedding. I can go on and on about what made our special day so PERFECT because there's endless reasons why. George and his Team really understood my vision for the lighting and executed flawlessly. The centerpieces looked magical with the pin spots illuminating them. The historical architecture of the venue was the perfect shade of white. When it turned into a dance party later in the evening the uplights changed different colors and strobed like a music festival to the beat of the music thanks to Nick! My guests were in absolute awe! The audio was also perfect especially considering working in a 20,000 sqft historical venue with 35ft tall ceilings and marble everywhere. We had 2 different DJs and very specific timing for the music, speeches, etc. They made sure everything was tested and perfect before guests arrived and for that I'm truly grateful. THANK YOU J&M!They went above and beyond to make sure my day was beautiful, memorable, perfect, and FUN! If you're in search for an AV Company, do yourself a favor and HIRE J&M EVENTS! You will not regret it because they are simply THE BEST.

I want to say the Jorge and the entire team were amazing. We hired them for our wedding. We used their photographer, DJ, host and lighting services. DJ and Host were honestly the best money we spent on our entire wedding. I got so many compliments on how Jorge hosted our event. His personality really radiated thru and he made the night flow incredibly and incredibly fun. The photographer team was amazing. Joe our main photographer did an amazing job and even contacted us prior too and really connected with us. To add to all of that Sandra came along too and helped keep everything on track. The team at J&M really made our wedding a dream come true! Thank you so much!

I recently celebrated my daughter's Sweet 16 and the entire event turned out perfectly thanks to J & M Events! From the moment I met Jorge and Shawn, I felt completely at ease and reassured that they were going to take care of absolutely every detail. They listened to my requests and made my vision come to life! They both knew exactly what I would need to make the party a complete success and they certainly delivered in every way possible. I was blown away by the customer service provided by Jorge Lopez and Shawn Huff & their staff that assisted the day of our party. Jorge is not only a funny guy but definitely knows his business. He knew exactly what I would need in order to make my event turn out so beautiful! Shawn was there for me every step of the way and made sure that everything was taken care of the day of and did not leave until she knew everything was perfect. Andy the DJ was incredible the entire evening. His selection of music kept the kids & adults dancing the entire evening. The photo booth was such a hit and Junior was always available to assist if needed. Hudson took care of the lighting effects and that truly completed the entire look I was looking for! My daughter's Sweet 16 couldn't have been as successful as it was without the help of J & M Events! I can't thank you all enough for making my daughter's Sweet 16 so memorable for the both of us!

J&M Events was our production team for a large annual gala that we hold in Orange County. The J&M team was readily available to us throughout the planning process, helped us with the vision and delivered on their promises, timing and pricing! They were a fantastic partner and helped us to accomplish an awesome event that was truly a great night!

Jorge and his team were amazing. We had a large two day event for a celebrity client that required audio, LED walls, lighting, and custom elements. He handled everything seamlessly. He made great suggestions and worked quickly to accommodate last minute changes. They're the best in the business!
