It Was Good Eats

If you're a fan of baked potatoes then this is it! My comadre runs the southwest market and I saw this truck at the event and I knew I had to check this out. I know baked potato is basic, but there's nothing basic about their baked potato. That thing is HUGE!!! My husband, son and I made a big mistake by getting our own and we could not put it down. I think it took me 4 days to finish mine haha. They do not skimp! You think it's gonna be dry when you get to the bottom, but it's buttery and they hook it up.Service was fast. It took them about 10-15 min to make all 3 of our baked potatoes and they even had a line when we went. Definitely recommend that you check them out. Make sure you have an appetite or make sure you share with a person or 2. Not sure how long they've been around or where else their truck posts at, but I would love to come back.If you're able to see inside their truck you can see they have a little assembly line going on to stay organized. I saw 3 people working the truck, but I could be wrong. Bakersfield needs more food trucks, so I'm wishing and hoping for this trucks success!

I can't say how much I enjoyed this food truck! The price was great for the huge amount of food you get! Look at the bowl! It was massive. On top of that, it was the best baked potato I've ever had and it's one of my favorite things to eat. The Mac n cheese and chili verde were the perfect additions. My husband got the street dog and I had a bite and it was also incredible. Plus, the owner was so friendly and helpful checking on us regularly to make sure we were happy. We will for sure going back to their regular location up by the East side Wal-Mart.

One of the best baked potatoes I've ever had. Was enough to share with my wife and still had a couple of meals out of it. Quick friendly service.

*Food- wouldn't know never tried it even though was told already picked it up. (Wasn't paid for yet so no they didn't take my money and not fork out the food)*Service was ok at first but when it came to getting it/ standing in line you can tell the pressure got to at least one the workers not sure about the other one.*Ambiance... none, unfortunately.*I'm all about supporting the small businesses and I always give a second chance but after hearing from some colleagues about some the remarks and how others were treated that day- I will pass.... for nowI hope they do better though. I don't wish bad on them.

The Chorizo Bake with everything on it was awesome. The green salsa was very spicy! If you like hot, go for it. The Chef was very friendly and brought our food to our car.My husband had the Bacon Mac and Cheese Bake; he says, "It was a hearty, tasty meal!Yummy! Highly recommend!
