Indian Palate

This place is a hidden gem. The staff are always so friendly and inviting. They often offer you a warm cup of complimentary tea. My sister-in-law is the one who told me about this place and said she stopped here after having a heartbreaking day after some bad news about the health of her beloved dog and the warmth of woman at the store towards her gave a bit of a silver lining to her otherwise painful day. She said she'll never forget the kindness shown. After visiting a few times myself, I can say they are always warm and friendly. They have tons of delicious spices and foods to choose from. I haven't eaten from their cafeteria yet because I've always arrived after having eaten elsewhere but I will! I've enjoyed everything I've tried from the grocery store here so far. Great prices for buying spices in bulk. I can never have enough cumin. I will be making this a regular stop when I have to travel to Lancaster.

Wonderful local family owned Indian grocery store. They have a lot of inventory to choose from and it can be overwhelming to a novice of Indian cooking. Thankfully, the staff is very friendly and helpful with product selection and recommendations. The store has frozen food sections and a dairy section. I recommend purchasing ingredients to make mango lassi and rose lassi at home. The store has a weekly freshly cooked hot food menu which I recommend. The store also has bakery desserts. I recommend the julab gamun. The store advertises on their Facebook page when they have stock of popular vegetables and freshly made jalebi. The store is clean and I liked seeing the India decor.

I love this place for spices they have all the Asian and Indian spices and authentic Indian food. The store is little and stuffed to brim so go slow while you shop you will find gems trust me if you are a cook. They are the nicest people they are very helpful they give you advice on the items that you buy cause they want you use them correctly so you enjoy your meal. The store is small but full of interesting items to try to get out of a food rut.

Love this little store, its like a hidden treasure in Lancaster. You feel like you stepped into a store right in India so many things to look at and try . The brother and sister who run. The place are so kind they offer you chai tea and even a sample of the food served for that day in the restaurant inside.Great prices friendly people a hidden gem

Not much of a selection of Indian food displayed. Rice was very cool and was way too bland. I don't believe it was Jasmine rice at all. I won't eat at that place again, but they have a nice selection of Indian food to purchase.

What a wonderful little gem of a shop in the AV! I came here after a friend recommended trying their lunch menu. I ordered a 1 item combo of their butter paneer over rice- delicious! The owners are super kind and friendly. They even offered me a cup of tea! I picked up some tasty spicy chips and a guava beverage on my way out. Will def be back to support this small business!

I have to give them five starts on just the customer service alone. They are so nice and welcoming. The food is delicious and they have everything you need to make the dishes at home yourself. This is the only Indian store and restaurant that I enjoy in Lancaster. Amazing

I started shopping here in 2021 after I moved to the antelope valley. Every experience I have had in the store has been a positive one. The family that owns this store is kind, welcoming, and understanding. They have fresh curries, samosas, and desserts weekly. I am highly recommending this store to everyone!

I was staying a few days in the area and stopped in on my last day to do a bit of shopping. Now I wish I had come in sooner, so that I could have tried their prepared food too. I will visit again when I return. I will also do a bit more research on various Indian ingredients as there were many things I did not yet know how to use - but I got quite a few things that I know will grace my table at home over the next weeks. They have a wide variety of items and the gentleman who helped me was so very gracious and kind. A real gem!!
