I was in Bakersfield for the first time this year and since leaving Kern county I have soooo missed Indian food. I picked this place because it is new, I never ate here before, and because it opens earlier than the others. I was hungry at 10am. First off, yes, it is literally located in a gas station. This is the third Indian restaurant I have eaten at that is located inside of a gas station. That makes it a little bewildering at first. You walk in and you see mostly the regular chips, soda etc., and you're thinking here? ? ?There is an area with fairly nice tables but if I lived in Bakersfield I would probably get it to go, because, gas station. I got biryani which was excellent! This is a very flavorful dish, that isn't hot or spicy. The spices tasted fresh and savory. If you are new to this cuisine and you haven't tried anything beyond butter chicken I recommend every version of biryani. The portion was very generous.

Not good enough for me to come back. All the food that i ate tastes plain. My husband thought it was okay.

What an unexpected awesome experience. Some of the best Indian food I've had in awhile... at a gas station in Bakersfield of all places. Highly recommend. I love that garlic Nan and the tikka Masala doesn't disappoint. Staff is super friendly. Ricky was very helpful and gave great service, made us feel at home in a gas station. Give this place a try! The food here is amazing! The service is fast. The ambiance is at a gas station but super cool. This is a high end place for this style of dining. But the food is better than most restaurants. I would literally take a date here if she was a foodie. If you like high quality tasty Indian food then try this place and your review will be similar to mine.

I had chicken tikka & lemon rice. The chicken was tender & marinated onions complimented the flavors nicely. This location is more of a 'take out' place.

As a fan of Indian food this place has some true authentic flavors that my taste palate loves! Everything was so flavorful and I would highly recommend everything!For starters, the crispy vegetable samosas were filled with a well-spiced mix of peas and potatoes, paired with a tangy tamarind chutney. The butter chicken, which was tender and rich in a creamy tomato sauce was so good I could not stop eating it. I ordered the spice level at a medium and it was the perfect amount of heat. I paired it with fluffy basmati rice, sauté onions, and garlic naan. Overall very good food and would definitely come back again!

Awesome customer service. The nice man from this place remember who I was and exactly what I ordered the last time. The fist time we wanted to try Indian food we asked him for recommendations he kindly suggested us what to try. This second time he also helped by recommending since I wanted to try something else. Everything was super delicious!!! I'm Hispanic so trying different food can be scary but not here. He answers your questions and makes the experience that well. Weather you want to sit down or to go for Indian food this is your place. Super convenient since it's inside a gas station/truck stop. Highly recommended!

So sad I like this place food taste great but This was Butter Chicken,usually should be separate , they were being lazy Come on man how can you sell me a plate like this ?? Would you eat it??
