In Your Wildest Dreams Antiques & Consignments

This is one of my favorite places to waste some time! (and money! lol) It takes a good couple of hours to REALLY walk through and appreciate the place because there is just so much to see! Luckily, they have a coffee shop inside the store to fuel your adventure AND shopping carts so you can drag your littles along with you! This antique store is very unique and is always full of weird, wild, and fun items! Since the booths are individually rented, you get a nice wide variety of different types of items. Some booths are full of handmade and repurposed items, too!NOTE** If you see something you are interested in, be sure to snag it while you are already there! I have gone home and beat myself up countless times for telling myself I would come back and buy an item another day** I will never forget the 1998 Sir Hathorne Hound Butler table that I let slip away at just $90 because I stopped by to waste some time on my way to buy my dream car and couldn't justify buying both in one day.. Went back the next day and Sir Hathorne was gone :'(

I went to an estate sale run by these company today. I was purchasing a panel divider, I had the price tag on my hand, ready to buy it, a bearded employee with reading glasses on his 30's ask me for the price tag, and then gave it to a buyer friend of his and told me the item was sold. I had the tag on my hand but since the other buyer knew the blonde buyer lady, I was literally racially discriminated.These company is Absolutely unprofessional, no ethics, no shame, no accountability. I was humiliated and embarrassed by these people. Beware of these racist company.

This business is one of Bakersfield's best-kept secrets in my opinion. The owner, Dixie Brewer, is such an ethical, kind, honest, genuine person, it's just refreshing to meet a BUSINESS WOMAN with such high ETHICAL standards these days - as well as her staff. Dixie strives to be fair in every single aspect of any transaction she and/or her staff conducts. AT IYWD, you can find almost anything you are looking for! Just drop in any day of the week, because there are new surprises awaiting you right around the corner! You name it, and you can find it at amazingly FAIR prices, great quality, cleanliness, and smiling faces to readily assist you in your treasure hunt at ANY TIME. I love this store!! The owners and team create such a fun and loving environment! It feels like a community when you're in there! I appreciate the selection of vintage, antiques and collectibles and am always finding something amazing in their consignment section. The vendor booths are so fun with everyone bringing their own vibe and style to the mix, I sincerely never leave empty handed. Highly recommend this store!

They're open 7 days a week! It's unusual for an antique mall to be there when you need it any day of the week. Sometimes I really do need to spend at least an hour shopping for treasures. They also have a large parking lot. The store is well lit on the bottom floor, but a little bit darker, as well as quieter, upstairs. Prices are typical for this type of shop-- if you find something you love, you'd probably be willing to pay their price. The front desk/cashiers are receptive and organized. The addition of a cute little coffee stand inside towards the front is such a great idea. All in all, everything about this place is customer-satisfaction oriented. My kids and I always enjoy shopping here.

I absolutely love the collectible section at In Your Wildest Dreams! They have an incredible selection of adorable Loungefly bags, and the variety of vendors offering gaming and pop culture items is amazing. The arcade games are such a fun touch, adding to the nostalgic vibe. It's a must-visit for any collector or pop culture enthusiast!

The new owners are doing a great job with organizing and sales. There is such a fun selection of antique and collectibles. While we were there, a coffee bar was open which was so good! There is something for everyone there.

Omg! I am obsessed with this place! It's like an antique mall! Tons of variety: vintage clothing, antiques, jewelry, furniture and my favorite purchase is milk glass! Definitely stop by and go treasure hunting! Nice staff and great service!

This store is huge! So many things to look at and buy. Variety of things and supports local businesses and sellers.
