This place has nice furniture in there store so when i went to purchase a bed it seem to be nice one then when it arrived to my house totally different mattress plus they sale warranty but don't follow through when its time to help there customer's they had 2weeks nothing..very bad for business. Im not happy don't make promise to customers and just leave us out to dry. If i could leave zero star i would second hand..in a new furniture store wow

Came in and was approved instantly for a dresser, and a bed with a frame. Only paid $50 down. Adam was super nice and helpful from the moment I stepped in. Answered all my questions and gave me his input which I always appreciate. Definitely recommend. He gave me a super deal so I'm taking all this under $1000 which is perfect for me. They will even politely challenge you to find a lower price but honestly, good luck with that because you might find a lower price... but God knows what type of funky quality furniture you will get in return...Don't have have enough cash to buy all your furniture in one shot? No worries because they offer super smart alternative payment options so you don't have to sacrifice your entire paycheck. I've utilized their in-house payment plan options twice already and they make a decision with their computers on site. No need to call a 3rd party or be on the phone with some out of state finance rep.Every time I have a home need, I stop here FIRST. It always ends up being my first AND last stop. I needed bunk bed for my grandsons and wanted the double mattress on the bottom. I found one I loved and it looked really nice. Went in to Home Design and the story is they stand behind everything they sell and yadi yadi yadi... I purchased the set cash and within 4 months the double mattress is lumpy and unsleepable even for a child. I went in and asked if there is something we can do and they said for no charge to me, I could have manufacturers repair it for only cost of material. Hmmm that sounds like a cost to me. They did nothing to help me.I predict that the store will go out of business. You cannot continue to sell poor quality furniture and treat Bakersfield customers this way.So take my advise and the advise of other customers. Steer far far far away from this store. They are all talk and no service

The employees were exceptionally nice and helpful, and their showroom is filled with beautiful, unique, well made furniture! I absolutely love my vanity, and I will be purchasing a wooden trundle bed my daughter picked out by the end of the month.

Only gave one star because I have too!! I went In and purchased on June 12. I placed the order with the manager and he told me two weeks. (No one ever called me with updates I had to call every week on my own) I received my sectional on July 17 and it was incomplete!!! Missing ottoman!!! Manager told me he'd refund me a portion and get my ottoman to me! It is September 23 and I have not received a refund or the damn ottoman! Now I have to find a random ottoman/coffee table to go with this sectional! What a pain!!! I have let my family and friends know what a terrible experience I got from this place. At least refund me an amount of money so I can purchase something on my own if your gonna sale incomplete sets!!! As soon as I get a chance I will be going in and causing a scene!!! I've messaged for a call and they act like they don't see my message.

Came in today looking for a vanity don't have all the money for it right now but I got approved right away for financing thank you shadae for helping me I love my vanity ! Would recommend !!

So I'm finally making my review for this place...First off every time that I went in or drove by(they have furniture displayed outside the business, it's on my way home everyday) they never had a price tag on anything; this gave them the freedom to charge whatever price they made up in their head at any moment. So the first time I came in, I was looking around, kept having to go ask what the price of the items I was interested in were, that's annoying as hell. So then I sat in the office and discussed some prices and a discounted "deal" if I bought my items that day. Here's the thing about me, I'm the kind of person that if I see something I really want then I will get it right then and sometimes I don't care how much it costs. Of course if I really couldn't afford it I wouldn't get it though, duh. So at this moment of discussion you can tell he felt like he just scored on this deal with me, but anyway I got two items. The items were supposed to be delivered to me at the end of the next week, and he would call me before he came to my house so there was no wasted trip,ok cool. So I end up calling him, no answer at all. Couple days later I go back to the office and ask him what happened, he claimed he called me and left a message, I check my phone again, ok an unidentified number called me but no message, I tell him there's no message and then he says oh your voice mail box was full, but it wasn't. Then he tells me I'll deliver it to you today for sure by 2:30, ok we'll see. 2:30pm comes around, no phone calls to me, no messages and no answer when I call him, I even completely deleted my voicemail messages beforehand so there was no excuse/lie again that my voicemail box was full cause it never was. So here comes the very next day, the 3rd time I'm going in for these same two items; he then tells me what sounded like a lie, he says oh I'm sorry my delivery men caught a flat tire on a delivery to Delano and they got back to Bakersfield late at night but I will get it delivered to you today for sure..... You know how when you know someone is lying but you just listen to what they have to say anyway, well that was that moment... So I go home waited on the delivery for the 3rd time, and at this point I was wondering if I would ever get my stuff. Finally two guys show up with my items and they were really cool guys, they set everything up in one of my rooms for me, and I asked them what happened to my delivery all these times, they said it was the first they had heard about delivering to me and I asked if they were in Delano with a flat tire the night before, they stated that they were the only delivery men and they never went to Delano. So the owner lied just like I thought he did. And then the delivery men spilled the beans on him and how bad he is with business , always lying to customers and delivering and doing business however he feels like it. I told the delivery men that I sensed that and that he lost a customer because I still want more furniture items but this place will never see another dollar, they were saying I don't blame you, he just needs to be upfront with people. Well to wrap it up, the prices weren't all that great, like I said I just want what I want when I want it, the lies and misleading/bad customer service bothered me more than the price and was the biggest factor in losing me as a customer, so try it if you want but I would never send someone here. I'm giving them two stars because just when I thought I would never get my furniture I FINALLY did and didn't have to go to court about it, and also for the delivery men being so cool, but that's about it...

Im moving to San Francisco, so I decided to take my furniture from my home town, Shadae helped me get everything I needed and shipped the boxes to my house! Thank you Home Design for everything!! I love all the top quality furniture at the low price I got everything for! Once again thank you
