Great customer service. I have gone in several times, and there is always someone near by to answer all my dumb questions. And I have plenty. They are very patient with brown thumbs like me.

Family owned, the Hofmans originally from Norway, to Massachusetts ,then Hanford. Friendly, knowledgeable, but most of all very approachable. My first time there,stopped in on a visit to my home town. They have a very nice selection of cut metal wall hanging ocean figures. I bought the twin seahorses, but my daughter snatched it up as soon a I showed her. Guess I'll have to make another trip back there.

Hoffman's is THE go to nursery in Hanford. The staff is friendly and knows what they are talking about. Plants aren't overpriced like the nursery next to the Monday sale. I just find the quality of plants to be better than from Home Depot or Lowes.They are closed on Sundays, and I'm glad they are. As inconvenience as not being able to shop on a Sunday can be, they are closed for all the right reasons, so props to them.

Excellent service and inventory. The man helping us was very knowledgeable about the type of tree that would work for the small area in our front yard.

We no longer live in Hanford and arrived for Mother's Day weekend. Decided to gift shop at Hofmans as we used to love their nursery years ago.As we walked in the store and started looking around, my husband said "we are the only ones wearing a mask". Staff, customers, delivery people not one person was wearing a mask....awkward.We didn't have a lot of time so we thought we would get the items we wanted and get on out. We asked a staff member where the ceramic pots were....he pointed in the direction...and that's it. I then asked him about some plants that were on the ground by the entry to the nursery. So we got the pots and as we were getting the plants another woman staff member said "You can't get those plants they haven't been checked". Okay well the other person failed to tell me that. So then we asked about potting soil. Again we were pointed into the direction and were told to get the blue bag. In the good old days....we would have been greeted with friendly hellos and we would have gotten excellent customer service from beginning to end.This time it was poor from beginning to end.I guess the saying is true...You can't go home again.

Great staff and nice selection of landscaping materials, wish it was a little bigger.
