I had such an awesome experience here, it's a shame to think that I almost rode right past them without stopping!I saw the sign for free coffee and the exterior looked interesting so I decided to check it out. That was a decision that I am glad to have made, and I say that months after I stepped out of the Historic Owl Cafe. I got to meet both the owners and they were so friendly and open about the Cafe and themselves as well. The actual space is chock-full of all sorts of different bits of history that you can't even absorb it all in one trip. The building itself is very historical as well. It has such a great atmosphere and it is a functioning Cafe as well. The free coffee proved to be quite tasty and the company they offered was even better.I wish them both the best of luck there (and with the gold panning as well!). If you're taking that beautiful route be sure to stop by and check it out!

What a cool find! Stopped on our way the desert to check it out and we were so glad we did! Run by a friendly couple and they have snacks, a museum of vintage stuff, spy stuff, gadgets of all sorts, and thrift stuff. Worth a stop for sure! See you next time!

This is a really cool place to learn some local history, see hundreds of artifacts, and have a great cup of coffee. Danny, the owner, is an upstanding guy, and tells great stories of his adventures in gold mining. I could spend weeks here and still not see everything on display!

This is not a cafe. No food is served. Only a portable potty available and they ask for a donation to use it.

Had such a blast exploring this desert gym. There's so much stuff to check out and the folks who work here are incredibly passionate about the local history and more than happy to share their knowledge with you. Definitely check it out next time you're cruising down the 395!

Dropped by to pick up some snacks. Got to talk to the owner, Danny. Amazing guy! He talked to me about local history, and even recommended a few spots to check out. I did and they were amazing! I came in for coffee, and I left with an experience!
