I have a new, favorite hotel in Visalia!I had noticed the Hilton Garden Inn on my last couple of visits when driving down Hwy 198. I made a mental note to try it. I'm so glad that I'did. It was built one year ago (early-2023), so everything is new and nice. The layout is the nicest I have seen at a Garden Inn. It's very open, airy, and light. The "market" has a large selection items -- I was impressed. The only negative is that they are trying to charge $15 for parking. Not sure that's going to fly on the outskirts of Visalia. : )This hotel is a wonderful addition to the Visalia hotel scene. I will absolutely stay here again!Welcome to Visalia, Garden Inn!!!

Stayed here for one night while visiting with family. Very nice place with nearby eats and gas station. I am a Hilton honors member so checking is was very easy through the app. My room was ready before check in time and the digital key worked throughout my stay. We stayed in a double queen room. No issues with cleanliness. The beds were comfy as well as the pillows. I love that they have smart tv's in the rooms, makes it easy to sign into streaming apps. The staff were friendly. The lobby is clean with a lot of seating. The hotel has a bar, breakfast area, small snack area for purchase, a gym, and a pool. Parking is $15/day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again whenever in the area.

Conveniently located off the freeway near a Jack n the box, Chevron and Starbucks.Property is fairly new as fixtures and furniture were modern. Rooms are spacious! We got the two queens room- included a mini fridge, microwave with coffeemaker. Accent chair, desk and chair.Beds were super comfy, pillows fluffy - was able to get a good nights rest after a long travel day!Bathroom has a roller door with no lock.Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and towels well stocked.Parking is $15There is a mini-mart with snacks, drinks and microwaveable food. Full bar and restaurant in lobby.Breakfast buffet at $20 a person - Dad and brother opted to try and said it was standard breakfast options you would have at a Home2Suites. But all you can eat so they were satisfied. Overall not a bad option especially when you're a Hilton Honors member. Would stay again.

I'd give 5 stars for everything except the $15/day parking charge. This is an unnecessary add on bc this hotel has nothing near it except jacking the box. It is not like it's San Francisco where parking is a premium. This is in the middle of nowhere and you'd park here no matter what. Also no free breakfast, restaurants is on site and you pay for basic breakfast. But Starbucks is across the street and the hotel is nice, new and clean.

The hotel was new. It looked promising. They had the rate that I wanted. We booked a room with a king bed. We arrived around 3PM, and were given a room with a view of the freeway. Inside the room was a mini-fridge, microwave and a coffeemaker. The bathroom was adequate with a walk-in shower. Bath products were dispenser bottles of Zero shampoo, condition, body wash, soap and lotion. A hair dryer was provided. The gym was adequate with brand equipment including treadmills, ellipticals and dumb bells. The equipment was enough for a good workout. Hand sanitizer and towels were provided to keep the equipment clean. Breakfast was served downstairs. The breakfast was a little disappointing. Gold members and above are given $10 per guest (up to two guests). Between my wife and I, we had $20. Everything other than the Greek yogurt bowl costs more. Yet, everything that they served was the same as most hotels with a free breakfast. I was hoping for a better experience. It's just an okay hotel. It is slightly better than the Residence Inn across the street, which this franchise owner also owns. Both this hotel and the Residence won't upgrade you.

Stayed here last August for business. Every front desk I've spoken to were very nice and helpful. The hotel is fairly new. I was told it was only about 8 months since they opened when I stayed there. They have their own parking lot. During check-in, I was told it was free, then upon checkout, I got charged. The front desk was able to take it off my bill, so make sure you ask about this upon check-in.Convenience of location as it was next to fwy, there are gas stations and quick bite fastfood near here too. Anything else is about 15-20mins of driving. My entire stay was pretty quiet, which I appreciated. The fitness center they gad was well maintained. The only thing 8 didn't like about this was the water dispenser was used by other people, so it was a bit disturbing during workout because the door wasn't quiet. The room was clean, I asked for no daily housekeeping as I wasn't staying too long. The bathroom has a vanity mirror, which was a plus when you need to put on make-up. By the closet, you have a full sized mirror, iron and board, plus extra drawers.

We were there for just one night. The front desk was very courteous. It is sad to see that the clientele is not busy enough to keep the on site restaurant open for dinner. Breakfast should have been complimentary. We were given a $20.00 restaurant credit, but that barely covers the cost for just one breakfast. They have a bar, but because they have very little customers staying at this location, that too isn't open to service those who stay there.Room was clean. They allow pets which is always a plus for us.

Overall a nice property and being that it is brand new is nice. It is located right off of the freeway so easily accessible and the parking is good as well. Snack bar down stairs and plenty of room to work on a laptop if needed near the lobby area. Not to many eating options around the area. Only feedback is the girl working had her boyfriend standing with her the entire night and the guy made us feel uncomfortable. We went down to our cars around 3:30am and he was still there and he left in the middle of the night revving his car and peeling out really loud. Might want to check into this because it was annoying.

This hotel is brand new, is beautifully clean, and has modern rooms with great amenities. Our room had a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, plenty of outlets, good closet space, great lighting, and quality blackout curtains. I usually don't sleep well in hotels but I did here. Also, the little market downstairs was great for late night snacks and forgotten items. We didn't use the pool but we did appreciate that it seemed to be open late unlike many other hotels. Lastly, the staff were all incredibly friendly. Shoutout to Emilio on at the front desk who went out of his way to help me and also checked on us throughout our stay. The only thing I can't speak to about this hotel is the restaurant/bar because we had other plans and didn't use it. We will definitely be back the next time we go to Sequoia and/or Kings Canyon National Parks.

Rooms were fine, but the service is terrible. I work a little later and stay at Hilton Garden Inn for my travels due to the restaurant on site that allows me to come back and enjoy a meal before turning in. To my surprise, the restaurant had closed early and I was unable to get service. After sitting down the waitress took her time getting over only to tell me that the kitchen was closed early tonight as the manager allows that when they aren't busy. Not very helpful for those of us who work later. Then the staff started laughing at my situation. Very disrespectful. Of all the Hiltons I have stayed at, this is the only time I have ever experienced this level of dissatisfaction.
