Just left Home Depot very frustrated and drove to true value. Walked in and asked the cashier where the sink traps where and she told me isle 26. Went there found my items needed and went and paid and left, taking less than 10 minutes!!Home Depot..... Send your people over here to learn customer service!Thanks true value for keeping me working!

The costumer service is great. The young lady who helped me in the nuts and bolts section was very helpful and kind.

Super helpful staff! Walked in looking for a rather unique item, and while there is not a huge selection in the area I was looking, they were awesome at helping me sort through to find the closest match quickly!!!Big Mahalos!!!

After getting the runaround at Home Depot, I told my husband, why don't we go to the True Value store to buy an evaporative cooler motor. We walked right in and found just what we needed for the same price as Home Depot, but at least, this place had them. The cashier said that, even though it's about past the season for these, the manager/owner likes to keep some in stock. Bless his heart for thinking ahead. When you're in a small town, it's sometimes tough to find specialized parts.

One of the worst stores ever!!! Rented a U-Haul from True value/ High Desert Home center. The U-Haul was low on gas, smelled like a shit tank, and when we told them the gas was low the lady reacted like we were lying. Asking her U-Haul technicians "did he verify it!" We went around the corner when we noticed it. And we took picture and brought it back to them. Never will buy anything else from the hell hole. Their rude, and obnoxious.

Looks can be deceiving. After walking around the store and finally decided on what I wanted I asked about renting bobcat.They were accommodating as long as they were getting my money.Later that day I called and asked what time they closed on the day I was picking it up, and also the size hitch I would need for the trailer to tow it. They answered my question quickly although completely wrong.I show up the day of pickup, pay the security deposit and rental fee assuming all previous information given to me was correct. Then I am told they close 2 hours earlier than I was told a few days prior, no big deal.Then I pull the truck around to go hook up the trailer and the guy laughs at me and says I need the next size up when I had just spoken with someone about it the day beforehand to avoid having to buy anything more from their store.I promptly requested my money and deposit back.the "return" still has yet to show up in my bank account.

This is an older store that seems to have stayed alive by offering what the local big box stores don't. They carry harder to find premium brands of dog food, a huge selection of irrigation supplies, and a lot of other hard-to-find and location specific merchandise.
