Heart Of India Valley Plaza Food Court

Heart of India is a gem in the mall's food court! First, the location is super convenient with ample parking and plenty of seating, and the food court area is mostly well-maintained, making it easy to find a clean table.As for service, I'm not sure where some reviews are coming from with complaints about rudeness. Our experience was fantastic--the lady at the counter was kind and welcoming, and even the kitchen staff were friendly, acknowledging us with a warm goodbye when we left.Now, the food: we ordered the combo meal, which includes rice, naan, and two entrees. I chose the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, while my husband picked lamb curry and chicken tikka masala. The chicken tikka masala is incredible! It's packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, with tender chicken that's just right. The butter chicken was new to me, and it's now a favorite--similar in taste to the tikka masala but creamier and equally delicious. My husband loved the lamb curry, and their garlic naan is absolutely to die for.I also ordered a mango lassi, and it was fantastic! So creamy and packed with fresh mango flavor--absolutely refreshing and a perfect complement to the meal. Portion sizes are generous, especially considering the reasonable prices.Whether you're trying Indian food for the first time or need to satisfy your Indian food cravings, I highly recommend Heart of India!

This food is so delicious, you also get a very generous amount for the price. No doubt this is for 2 people!! They are very clean here, I would say the only downfall is their customer service, they aren't too friendly but definitely will come here again very good food.

I got the combo #1 and I believe it came with a lot of food! I even had some leftovers. However take note that if you don't choose the regular nan they will charge you an extra 89 cents which I think should be made aware of before you order. The butter chicken was soooooo goood. It was full of flavor. There was a lot of chicken so the portions are great! The chicken tikka was also good! The rice to sauce portion was perfect! I was not expecting this amount of Nan but I was a very very happy person, it was buttery and crispy, a bit burnt but I love my burnt just make note if you're not that type of person! I wish the customer service was better, no smile or anything, kinda just made me feel weird.

I'm not sure why people sleep on this place. It has outstanding food that is restaurant quality. The butter chicken and naan are outstanding. Veggies were good too. The staff are super friendly and there is a wide variety of food. If you're not interested in pizza, I would definitely check this out.

I had a combo with 3 different curries and naan. The food is good! This is the first time I've tried this place. There is just a couple of things I would say would improve the overall experience. Handing the food to the customer and having actual lids on the to go orders, the film presses plastic is a hassle. I'll be happy to go again and try other items on the menu.

I wanted to love you Heart of India, I really did. I passed by when I was at the mall recently with my wife and my curiosity grew. Today I decided to drop by and grab lunch real quick so I could try it out and I'll tell you there are some real high notes here but there are some low notes as well. Let's start off with the positive.-The butter chicken is fantastic, it's some of the best I've ever had, I really enjoyed it. -The chicken curry was also really good, it had nice flavor. Not quite enough heat for my liking for a curry but none the less the flavor was really good. -The price is reasonable, I got the combo 2 which comes with 3 curries and all the sides, it came out to about $16 overall so no major complaints. Now where we went downhill a bit. -The portion size on one of your 3 curries is pretty small comparatively. I'm not sure how they decide which one goes where but one of the 3 spots is smaller than the others and therefore I got less of that curry. -I was asked if I wanted garlic or butter naan, I wasn't told there was a difference in price so I went for the garlic naan and got hit with an extra 85 cents on my bill. Not a lot but still it's annoying when you get an unexpected upcharge. -The naan was burnt. It was slightly burnt on top and it had considerable burn on the bottom of 2 pieces. -Staff wasn't very attentive, I was waiting to order and the guy came over to the register. As I started telling him what I wanted another customer stepped up next to me and asked for a bag and some other things, instead of telling them to wait while he finished with me he stepped away from the register to get their items and then returned to me, mildly irritating. -I found the chicken tikka masala to be lacking, the sauce was alright but it was a little bland and the chicken was definitely overcooked. It's the food court, there are a lot of choices and you have to stand out. The was alright for me but it wasn't something that really stood out and would have me rushing back next time I'm in the area. I know they are relatively new in that location so we'll see how it looks down the road a bit.

I've been seeing this place in my last few visits to the mall and I'm glad to see we have some cool, new options! The staff is extremely friendly and there was someone handing out delicious samples of butter chicken with rice and Kulfi ice cream bars. I ordered the samosa burger which is really a samosa in place of a beef patty. The samosa itself was delicious! There was way too much mayo and ketchup on it which took away from the amazing flavor and presentation, but I would come here again and try some other menu items.

I was impressed by the Heart of India's perfect balance of ingredients in their rice and lamb dish. The food was truly amazing, and the customer service was top-notch. Keep up the great work!

We ordered delivery. Didn't receive confirmation so we called GrubHub (may not be restaurant's fault). Saw the driver was on the way. The GPS stopped off nearby for a LONG time. Finally, the order arrived. The food was in a sealed/laminated plastic tray which we've never seen before. Almost seemed prepared in advance? The butter chicken naan and samosas were good. The tray results in small portions. It's worth ordering but I would never have delivered again.
