I have made Hawley AC & Heating my HVAC guys forever. Over 40 years in the business and they do a GREAT job every time and never over charge. In fact, I'm always afraid they are making a mistake when I get their invoice because it is so much less than I expected. Steve Hawley is a great guy who is super thorough and they never go away without taking care of my problems in a satisfactory way. I found them on Yelp and glad I did. They do get busy, but they really try hard to get to a customer as fast as they can. I can't tell you how crazy I've been treated by other HVAC companies. Never by Hawley. Just good work at a great price. You guys are a comfort to me, mostly because you get the temps in my house comfortable again. But also because I know I can depend on you. Thank you!!!

These guys are awesome! I've used them several times to repair both my AC and heater. Today they came and fixed the igniting board. They gave me an estimate on Saturday and tried various tries before coming to that conclusion. They are honest, efficient, friendly and affordable. Don't hesitate to give them a call. A few months ago, we decided we needed to have our unit replaced after 18 years. We contacted a few places recommended on yelp, but felt like they were a good fit. We were given a quote and my husband told them to go ahead and start. They were here about 2 days and 2 more hours. They work clean and put down something on the carpet to not get anything on our hallway floor. Also, they arranged for a person to dispose of our old unit. They were professional, friendly,and best of all, don't try to oversell. We paid what we were quoted on and have had no issues with our new unit. We are actually not having to lower the temperature as much this summer, because this unit is more efficient and as a bonus, much quieter.

I'm here to post long awaited review of Hawley AC & Heating in Bakersfield CA. I'm an out of town property owner who relies on "honesty & integrity" when dealing with maintenance and repairs issues! You can read the other 55+ positive 5 star reviews that all indicate Ted Hawley, the owner, has his name behind his business! I patiently waited my turn for a ductless mini split AC Heater install & was not disappointed with the results or the price!

They were amazing! My AC went out in August on a Saturday afternoon. I got Mr. Hawley's information from a friend and text him Sunday morning. I knew they were crazy busy, but he made time to come by and assess the situation. He spent about 2 hours talking to my husband and I about all the options from replacing parts and repair to replacing the whole unit. We decided to replace and they got the unit installed within a few days. The other workers did not make any mess and he was very responsive to text, which I appreciated.

Ted Hawley and his employees have serviced my HVAC for several years.This year it was time to replace my Unit.He replaced my unit with utmost care and precision. The quality of their work is excellent .I never had a doubt that their workmanship was the best. Hawley was referred to me by a friend after our property management gave me one estimate for a condenser and coil replacement which is a lot of money so of course you need multiple estimates!!! I called them and they were very helpful, someone came out right away. I confirmed the job one day, they came out the next day and it was fixed! The tenants said the workmen were very nice and polite. Their pricing was great they did the work right away and did a great job!

Hawley just installed a Daikin Fit heating/cooling system in our home. I researched all things central air, and set up meetings with companies in the TehachapI/Bakersfield area to get 3 quotes. Hawley was straightforward and didn't try to upsell unneeded add-ons. My husband and I were so impressed with every aspect of our install. Ted Hawley is very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. Highly recommend!

This company surpasses all heating and air businesses I've used. They are real people, kind, responsive, fair and know their stuff. They are interested in saving money for the customer by trying to diagnose over the phone and being prepared with the equipment they may need--rather than make an extra trip to Tehachapi. Ted is calm friendly. Does not overcharge!!! Despite being located in Bakersfield, their charge was way less than Heating and Air companies in Tehachapi.

I can't say enough how thankful I am for Ted Hawley!! First, our son's a/c went out and I reached out to Hawley's based on all of the positive reviews I have read. He got to his unit yesterday, a Saturday, and determined the problem and will order the part and fix it as soon as he can! Well believe it or not, later yesterday afternoon, our darn unit also went out!! So I contacted Ted and he was willing to come by even though it was after 5:00pm to take a look! What a guy! I can't thank him enough and honestly have not experienced such honest and caring customer service in a very long time! I highly recommend his company and we will certainly be his customers because of his great caring service! Thank you Ted!!
