Haven RV Park

We had a great stay this Labor Day weekend. We had 13 people in our group, with 4 tents and 1 trailer with full hookups. The layout was nice, the manager was great! He was a pleasure to speak too, and really enjoyed the whole process with him. We had great use out of the horseshoes and the kids watched a movie in the Rec room. The drive to town and the lake was short which was great! The reason for the loss of a star, is that it really isn't kid friendly. It's really quiet, and seems catered to the elderly. The kids were not able to play in the trees, or be very loud during the day. We ended up leaving for the lake most evenings to not bother anyone. Overall was a great time.

My wife and I were staying at another campground and learned upon arrival that they would not allow us to fill our water tank. Just on a chance, I stopped in to Haven RV and asked if I could fill the water tank for our trailer. Jonathan, the gentleman that ran the place said sure and pointed me to his hose. I asked him what I owe him and he simply said "Nothing, we have to help each other out in this world."God Bless Jonathan. If we ever return to Lake Isabella, we are staying at Haven RV for sure!

Don't stay here if you're not the majority.We booked two sites for Labor Day weekend for two of our families. We also have two dogs who occasionally bark but only when provoked and they generally stay quiet, especially during quiet hours.We were approached twice, being told that our dogs were the issue. My concern arises when you take a broader look at who is actually staying at these sites. Our families consist of Asian Americans and Mexican Americans while the rest of the campers are of Caucasian descent. While the manager of the site was very kind, we all immediately noticed the hostility of the rest of the campers towards us. No "hellos", smiles, or even friendly faces. Just stares and condescending glances. It all felt very hostile. We were also told that we would be given our money back if we left. Regardless, it seems as if quiet hour is suddenly 24 hours.Take it for what it is, but consider this review when booking here.

Jonathan the RV park Manager, is so friendly, he was so pleasant and helpful on the phone when booking our reservation. The place looked beautiful and we were looking forward to staying there but my husbands work schedule did not allow us to keep the reservation. Jonathan was able to cancel the reservation. We need more Jonathan's in this world!!

Where can I start? Beside the fact that the place is in the best area, where it is located in a small beautiful town, its also close to the "miracle hot spring"... the place has everything an RV lover needs... from a great internet, to Laundry room, to full hook up to your RV, to a nice clean place. Also let me add the most important thing that made me know for sure that this is the place that I will be using for future RV camping. The person who runs the place, Jonathan, is an angel... he is extremely helpful, polite and kind. He is the reason that I will be coming back to this place...

This has to be one of the best RV parks in Lake Isabella. The grounds are nice and the location is great. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed.The park is under new management whose goal is to continually improve the park. I will be back soon.

The campsite itself was alright and the staff was kind for the most part, however, these factors don't make up for the experience I had here with my family. Our 2 night stay was quickly soiled on the second day when our dogs were playing and we got noise complaints from the guests around. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal but it was also the unfriendly demeanor of the other campers that made the complaint feel very targeting. As a POC, this behavior was unsettling especially since there were no complaints made when another group of campers were noticeably louder than our small dogs. My family and I will most definitely not be returning to this site, and I'll be sure to let others know of the negative experience we had.

The manager Jonathan has done an amazing job! It's very clean bathrooms are great hot working shower and toilets are so well kept/clean. He was so accommodating helping us when our other site fell through. Peaceful quiet site. Smaller in size. Less to do for kids, but an excellent and charming stop over for us. Thank you! Would definitely stay again and recommend others passing through lake Isabella do the same. Very safe and homey feeling.

We went to Lake Isabella the weekend of Whiskey Flats 2023. We made reservations at Haven RV because there were no spots left in Kernville with hook ups. I am so glad we did. From the phone call to make reservations to the moment we drove out of the park Johnathan the manager was one of the nicest people I have dealt with. The park is nice and clean, the bathrooms were clean, shower was wonderful. They have horseshoes, cornhole, a game/TV room, large fire pit and a propane grill. If you wanted to you could just go with a tent or RV and food and everything else is there. I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely stay there again.
