Hammys Smash Burgers

I love a good burger, and Hammys smash burgers did not disappoint! All of the ingredients tasted super fresh, and the patty was incredibly juicy/tasty. The onion rings were the real star of the show. The breading was super crispy and the actual onion pieces were huge! It's a fast-casual restaurant where you order at the register and bring a number to your table. There's plenty of seating inside to enjoy your burger, or wait for your to-go order if you want to enjoy at home.

Your cashier was extremely rude. Mind blown. Brought my mom here to taste these awesome burgers. She was speaking very quickly and difficult to understand. Had to ask her to repeat several times. None the less. Our number was called (and I went to go get it) sat down realized the hamburger had cheese. So went back to the counter to change it. In addition to the eye roll, she attempted to correct me and say "I confirmed that was three single smash with cheese.""Sorry didn't catch that" and here is where she rolls her eyes. When she asked the kitchen to fix it, they also asked her to repeat what she had said. So I noticed that some customers she will serve when the order is complete.... Others she calls numbers. I only gave a 10 percent tip because this is a serve yourself place. And now wish I had left zero because of her attitude. Can't believe how we were treated. Cooks were courteous, but that lady not cool

Took my daughter and her roommate here for dinner one night. Our first time trying a "smash" burger and it was good. I didn't love the fact they charge for sauces as I think if you're buying a premium combo you should get 2-3 sauces if you'd like. For the price the value was good, I have to recommend the onion rings.

Absolutely one of the best smashed burgers I've had in Fresno! I ordered the double smashed burger with extra onions I got ranch and peppers on the side to eat with it. Even the crushed ice there is great! The burger was thick and juicy. I would definitely go back if I'm craving a burger. Pricing is pretty decent for the quality of the burgers.

Yes, go here and get a double. The party's were well seasoned and we devoured them! Don't go there for ambiance go there for a smashing burger!

I've always wanted to try this place. The western double was good. But next time I want to try the regular smash burger. The service was great and wait time was super fast. I like the location. Will be coming back to try different items in the menu.

The food here is amazing. The staff is very friendly but the food is fantastic. It growing more popular all the time and there is limited seating. With food this delicious I doubt this small place will hod them for long.

A co-worker and I are in town for work and we where looking for a smash burger joint and came here on a Friday afternoon. Located at the mall, it was easy to find at the intersection. Place wasn't busy, ordered right away and our food was out in 5 minutes. I went with a Bacon Smash Burger (single patty) with lettuce, tomato and pickles. Burger was ok, needed more salt. Loved how crispy the meat was though. Bacon was a little sad, got some fatty parts that was tough to chew. The fries however were great. Overall, would rate this place a 6 out of 10. Loved how fast the food was out but just lacked a bit of flavor. Don't sleep on the fries if you do come by, theyre so good!

We've tried the newest Hammy's location a couple times now and found it be just as delicious as the spot on W Shaw. This new one is a very convenient location. It is on the southwest corner of Shaw and First but you cannot get to it via mall parking lot.On our first visit, the soda fountain didn't have ice which was kind of annoying in this heat. But an employee got us ice manually, much appreciated. They also don't have milkshakes yet - anxious for those!! The food was delicious- they have a small focused menu and I love that they do those few things well. My daughter and I always get fries and onion rings and share them because they are both so good and we can't have just one of them haha. For the quality and taste, Hammy's prices are exceptional. I hope Hammy's has long lasting business because I love these restaurants!

Never had smash burgers and I wasn't going to drive all the way to the West Shaw location, so thank you for opening one up close by! Upon entering, the place is spacious and very clean. Not many tables, but the seats were sofa-like!The menu is straightforward and the ordering process is quick. It seemed like their ice machine wasn't working so they gave my friends and me ice in the cup after we ordered. We ordered the double smash burger, triple smash burger, bacon smash burger, and jalapeno smash burgers; all made into combo meals. I ordered jalapenos on the side which cost an additional $1 which is super weird to me. But they have the banana peppers near the drink station for free. Overall, the burgers were really good and insanely juicy. The burgers didn't hold up and it got a bit messy. The fries were probably my favorite, they were crispy and tasty. I'd definitely come back here again, and I'll be sure not to order jalapenos again.
