I had no idea that this spot existed and I have driven past it 100 times !!! I ordered a breakfast burrito and the older couple cooking were very friendly and chit chatty , the burrito itself was huge! Machaca is my favorite morning meal by, beef, eggs, bell peppers, onions, homemade tortillas, I really enjoyed talking to the food Los as they made my food , the grilled jalapeños were hotter than a firecracker, perfect! Gus's place inside is great , just a reminder, it's inside of a gas station!

I called in 7 breakfast burritos for work and Gus had them ready in no time. I got great customer service and plenty of salsa! Everyone at my work liked the burritos and asked where did I get them at. There are seats inside to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Give Gus Restaurant a try. Pay no attention to the one star review.

Made a quick stop here after getting gas at Costco to get some food before we continued our trip to Joshua Tree. I love my breakfast burritos and knew I had to try theirs! The diner is uniquely and conveniently placed inside the gas station on the right as soon as you walk in. I got the their most popular one, which was the bacon, ham, and sausage with the option to add gravy in and it was absolutely delicious! It had a ton of shredded hash brown and other key ingredients (meats, egg, and cheese), which was consistent with every bite! Potato lovers like myself will appreciate this! Lol. It was my first time having a breakfast burrito with gravy in it and it worked! The lady who assisted me was super nice and the food came out fast! Definitely planning to come back!

Best fast breakfast ever great hamburgers and tacos. I stop and grab something almost every Costco trip.

Great bacon burrito! Fresh and tasty, highly recommended! Very big. Definitely would get again when in the area. It's Inside the gas station.

Opens early!! Many times when needing an early breakfast or super late dinner, places don't open until 6-7am. Small menu, but enough food to fulfill an appetite. Cooked to order, right temperature and taste was good. Small place inside the gas station, very clean and fast service.

I was craving a simple breakfast burrito, hearty and filling and I got exactly that. I pulled up and was pleased that it was at a gas station. I personally love little mom and pop shops. Breakfast burrito was really good, the bacon was thick cut and kind of reminded me of carnitas in a way! Loved it. I should've added avocado, highly recommend you do it. Also, really good salsas. Loved the green the best! My friend ordered the biscuits and gravy and that was also really good. And I know my biscuits and gravy. For a little hole in the wall spot, this is it! Friendly women took my order, amazing service! Would definitely recommend!

Really good breakfast burritos but the lady that takes the orders is super rude I asked for extra salsa and she got mad only 1 salsa per burrito blah blah .......it's no big deal if salsa is extra I will pay it I'm grown I have salsa money geeze lady if you don't like your job simply quit and find somthing else the cook in the back looks like he's a cool chill dude tho

I used to love this place, but I tried it again over the weekend and it was the driest breakfast burrito I've ever had. It was pretty much all potatoes. Not sure what happened, but please go back to the way you used to make them.

The 5 stars is for the breakfast burrito. It's the only thing I have ordered from here and probably the only thing I will ever get here. It's the best BB in Bakersfield! The gravy is also smackin good!
