Definitely not an equal opportunity place of business, or at least I didn't feel valued. Went in for just a drink, I ordered a long Island, he says 10$. I so ok, went to pay with my card and he says cash only. Then he points over to an atm, which charges 2.75$ per. Even though the patrons seemed cool, it's cash only but you conveniently have an atm. I call bs, never again. I'd also would like to say, I came here years back and it was cool but take your business elsewhere. I might as well have ordered a soda cause that's basically all I got.

Bobbi And Irene are the best bartenders in the east side of Bakersfield. And open when I get out of work at 9am. Great different specials everyday.

This REALLY IS a hole in the wall type bar. My friends really like this place, this is their CHEERS(where everybody knows your name) type spot. People smoke like trains in here, but the liquor is cool and the music is not too bad on the weekends. Theres a room full of tall chairs to go with the tables, stools at the bar, female and male restroom, a pool table slash DJ and dance floor area, lol very small, a tv that plays sports and one of those new school juke box music selectors. This place is allllll the way kick back, so dont worry about dressing up too fancy in here. Ive seen flip flops and fresh off work dirty clothes here, they dont care. I would never come here if my friends didn't invite me to come along, so Ive only been here a handful of times to their thousand, but we always have a good time no matter where we are, so you have to personally decide if this is a place for you.

Nice, cozy hang out. A really nice low key bar. People are chill and welcoming. Place has 2 pool tables and will have food catered free. They have a DJ playing old school music. Only down side is the cigarette smoke burns your eyes and you leave smelling like an ash tray. I'd come back again.

Great spot to get away. The drinks are usually pretty good, Staci is awesome made the whole experience great. I would spend more money if they had any specials or if the price wasn't as high. All around a great place though, I have been coming here for years and always bring people here. Give it a shot the place definitely is a good hide away from the downtown scene!

Ok prices, decent drinks. Owner will back the bartender in any disagreement, even if they're wrong. Nice jukebox, but if bartender doesn't like your music choice, they push a button behind the bar that shuts it off. Also, if you're not one of their "regulars" you definitely do not get "regular"treatment. I personally will not go back, and do not recommend to anyone just wanting a few drinks and a good time.

My friends love this bar so I went and had a great time. Somewhat in the ghetto, but the people inside were a really good time and friendly. Would definitely recommend this to anybody.

Worst "DJ" ever!!! Friday, Nov. 20, 2015- this guy should not be allowed back! I'm not kidding, at one point, there's like 6-7 people seated at the bar, who turned around and were staring at this DJ like "WTF?". If the music had stopped, you would have heard crickets in the background. It's sad that the bartender actually looked at my face and said, "do you want me to go see if he will play something else?". Yes! Please! Anything else! He played one decent song, then returned to his repertoire of shitty wedding reception tunes. A good DJ should be able to size up the crowd, play some tunes, and if the reaction is positive, keep playing those type of tunes. That only happens if the DJ pays ANY attention to the crowd. This guy presses play on his machine, then sits there with his head down, playing on his phone. I know, because I was prompted to look at the guy in utter disbelief every time another lame- ass, late 70s, 'party tune' played. Seriously, I could have plugged in my iPod and made the crowd happier. I guess the DJ decided he needed a break from the grueling work of pressing play and dicking around on his phone, so he decided to let a friend take over for a while; when the friend decided it was a good time to practice his mixing and scratching techniques, I paid the tab and left. This is a seriously COOL bar, lots of different people in there and everyone is usually pretty chill- but that DJ??? If that's what you get on a Fri night, I know what day of the week to avoid!
