My husband was recommended this place by a co worker, we drove out from Tulare, and it did not disappoint. The service is top tier, our waitress was so friendly, so honest with the menu and what to get and how to get it. Brought my husband a chile verde sample so he could taste it before ordering! It's a small cozy place full of farmhouse decor, that just makes you want to sit and have a coffee.

Went on a Wednesday morning around 8 and no waiting. The food is always delicious and big portions. The ambiance is country style enhance the name. My sausage patties were yummy and my husband pork chop and he loved it - huge portion. Always reliable service and great food.

How can you portion size this way for $16.99!? This is atrocious! I was used to the "semi-skimpy" portions they give you when you order to-go. But this: this was just downright rude. When my mom is saying "they give you more when you eat there." I'm thinking; that's not right. I'm a paying customer, you give me the same portion size as someone who eats there. We're both paying the same amount. Mind you, the only reason the eggs look more full, is because Jess gave me her portion. Other than that it would've looked as skimpy as everything else. I used to love coming here. Only spot with Corned Beef Hash! Hashbrowns were always my favorite! Sourdough toast. I honestly thought I was in for a treat this morning. Then the food arrives and I lift the container, felt like I was holding an empty container. Just air! Open it and wow! This is what you give for $16.99!? This is absolute Bull! Just lost my business. I can go to Buttermilk Biscuit Bar and pay the same for more food. Which hurts me to say, cause I've been a HUGE fan of this spot for years! I've written great reviews about this place! Well.. here we are. If you decide to eat here, the staff is super friendly, hopefully you get more for your buck than getting it to-go apparently. I just can't believe this. Only reason I gave 2 stars was because the corned beef hash and hash browns tasted ok, plus they gave me more toast than the entire meal. So that was nice lol.

Small diner on the south east side of Visalia sporting some ultra country decor. Friendly staff and serviced rather quickly. Nice size portions for breakfast. They got a plus with grits on the menu. They were okay. The omelettes are a nice size and cooked the diner way! The food isn't outstanding but it's a lovely diner experience with great coffee and cool ambiance. I was shocked the prices were higher than expected but it's worth it to support local. Give ole Granny's a try and see what you think!

It was my first time visiting this place while I was down in Tulare and we stopped by to get some breakfast to eat. The weight is a little bit long. we waited and it was worth it. I mean, the place gets really really busy for breakfast maybe lunch and dinner we enjoyed our breakfast, but the waitresses were very nice. You can tell they were very busy, but they kept a smile on their face, the cooks look very busy, but you know they all worked from what I seen it seem like they all worked together as a team cleaning tables bringing out food refilling the drinks we ordered. I ordered like the links ordered the ribeye pork chops or the pork chop steak. I forgot what it's called but I mean he got a big piece of meat. We got hashbrowns potatoes eggs toast you get a very big quantity of food for the price that you pay I mean, you come in hungry and you leave for the place gets pretty packed, it's welcoming. It's warm kinda looks like a bar area because they have a place where you can sit which looks like a bar area but it's a restaurant but it's worth it. I mean if you're in town wanna grab a bite and you're starving that would be a place for you to stop by and eat and it's good for the whole family. They have different options.

Enjoyed my breakfast here at Granny's Country Cafe. The service was not very attentive but the delicious food made up for it. I loved the creaminess of thier gravy and the biscuits were flaky and wonderful. They also had a great verity of other breakfast and diner type items on the menu. I plan to visit again soon.

Everytime myself or my HISPANIC family go we are racially profiled 100% of the time. I just went today by myself while I got some work done on my car nearby. It wasn't as full. Plenty of open seats. All of the employees kept looking at me and looked away, ignoring me, didn't acknowledge me at all! Not ONCE did they ask me one single thing since i had arrived. When I got there I even signed up on their list they have. They didn't bother to even check. One person heard I was on the phone talking in spanish and asked if they could close the door which they said was ok. Completely ridiculous how it's been a handful of times that that always happens. (That all happened to me today). A past experience i was with my family, it was busy and we had listed ourselves on the list and were waiting outside like everyone else, a whole hour passed by and other customers who were getting there AFTER us, were seated first, and they seated plenty of people who 100% arrived after. Completely ridiculous and unacceptable. After today I am completely done with this ridiculous racist place !
