The attending employee checked my name and brought my order out, signed the packing slip and had me on my way in a flash! Grainger has access to a lot of industrial items at a price. The prices are very expensive.And here are my two most recent examples: Needed a box of face shields. The counterman quoted me $9.65 each in a box of fifty. A safety supply store in the area had face sheilds for $1.88. I would have to buy some frames to fit our hard hats for about $10.00 each, so for less than $140.00 I would have 50 face shields and four brand new frames. Grainger's price for 50 shields is $482.50 .Second instance, and most recent- I needed a Ormron photoelectric switch. Grainger quoted me a price of $386.00 list price. I asked them if they would take $600.00 for two.They could not decide. Grainger did not have the part in town, they had to bring it in from out of the area. I went to another vendor in Texas, found the photoelectric switch for$193.00, they shipped me two switches overnite for slightly more than Grainger wanted for one.I would recommend shopping around on most supplies, their markup is just unbearable at times.EDIT October 2017Another ridiculous price story. Today I needed simple reflectors to be used with the photoelectric switches. The reflectors are very basic, like we had or have on our bicycles.3 1/2 inch OD round, Grainger wanted over $11.00 each and they would be here tomorrow. As I needed them, I ordered them in the quantity of four. Got back to my office and did some further research on where to find them, McMaster-Carrhad them in two packs same size and color, for $2.38. I order five 2 packs, with $6.00 for overnite shipping just over $17.00 for TEN OF THEM. Too expensive, called these guys back,and canceled my order.

It's nice to know good people still exist. Marco B was a great rep and guide us valuable guidance about our purchase. We are senior citizens and will come here for all our supply needs.
