Gozen Japanese Restaurant

We went for Valentines Day For TapanyakiThe Service is always amazing and the food is always great . The atmosphere is always nice and decorated for Valentine's Day . The staff is great . Stan the manager is the best and the owners Billy and his wife are always friendly and busy working making sure everyone is taken care of I recommend this place

Today was the last time I give Gozen a chance to impress me. I've been here a handful of times over the years and they have always delivered mediocre results. I prefer Sushi Kuu because I believe they are far superior, and today Gozen proved that. Went for lunch and got a table for a party of 2. The restaurant was practically dead, with only 3 tables waiting on service. We ordered two items on the menu and waited 35 minutes before the 1st item came out. The table seats next to us were falling apart and we stayed joking about it while we waited forever for two items. The worst part was actually during the wait. A cock roach was trying to climb my foot, and I kicked it off before it could start it's climbing journey. I squashed it after. Not quite the thing you want to see right before eating raw fish. So, needless to say, that was our last time trying to give Gozens a chance to prove to us they could deliver an exceptional experience. I think I'll just stick to Sushi Kuu!

It's been years since I last visited but I was desperately wanting sushi and my options we're limited so I decided to give Gozen another try. I'm very disappointed in my decision. To me sushi should be carefully made and cut delicately. It should almost feel like it melts in your mouth if made properly. We ordered 3 rolls and it appeared as if a caveman had cut and assembled them. The ratios were way off. The rainbow roll was not a rainbow roll at all and the rice was hard so the rolls were falling apart. Again the price point is in the high end so this type of quality is unacceptable. In this economy nothing is worse than spending your hard earned money on a bad meal.

Always quite crowded. The Hibachi Grill is always a pleaser for family. Sushi is great as well. Love this restaurant

Was in the area and hubby treated me to sushi since ive been craving sushi and my bday. Staff was awesome, welcoming and friendly. This place is so nice and clean and the roll was great. Will be coming back!

So yummy! I finally converted my husband and now he can't get enough of Gozen's sushi rolls either! Our personal favorite is the Gozen Tiger roll and we never forget an order of gyoza. If you're not a sushi lover, the garlic fried rice is unmatched and I'd recommend trying the crunchy roll to ease into the sushi life, you won't regret it!

Stopped in for a quick dinner on a busy Friday evening. Surprisingly got seated and served very quickly. We did the sushi side and our server was great. Very attentive and brought out our items as they were ready. The whammy roll and garlic fried rice were a hit at our table. A little pricey but expected with the ambiance and service.

They have changed the noodles in the Yakisoba. It's not udon noodles anymore. Smaller skinnier noodles and lacks the bomb flavor it used to have. This is second time I've ordered the garlic rice and the rice is not cooked. Nothing worse than biting into crunchy rice.

Absolutely amazing. First time here and the chefs really made a great impression. I added a picture of the "off-menu" item. There is crab, avocado, tuna, green onion and so much more. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired. The fish tanks are a bit worn. Everything is clean just not brand new.I recommend ordering from the chef's, not the waitresses. I won't go into detail, but was uncomfortable with certain unprofessional behavior.It's unfortunate that they drive away customers from their coworkers. I'd love to come back so long as I can avoid the waitress I saw today.

Our kids took us here for our birthdays & good times were had by all! The service was stellar as was the food. Not to mention our talented chef that entertained us with the best comedic timing. If you are looking for special memory! THIS is the place!
