Gorgeous Salon

Made an appointment well in advance (took me forever to reach her to confirm), turns out there's nothing even remotely "gorgeous" about this place...or the owner. Eeeeeek!!! I was sure I had walked into the House of Horrors. Without even saying hello or stopping for a second to ask me how I wanted my hair, she was already jabberering nonstop, pointing to a chair and waving around a cape, ordering me to "sit down." The window shades were all closed and the interior was grim. Not a single customer came the whole time. It gets worse. She hurriedly slops on the color, yammering that she "knows that she's doing," lol...when she doesn't. The shampoo was likewise sloppy. After plying me with negative stories about her life and other salons around town, she finally sat down in a distant chair (whew! I was finally able to read my book) and proceeded to watch some noisy program. I've never wanted to get out of a business that fast... took a few laps around the filling station afterwards and some deep breaths of gas fumes, lol. A blessed relief!

I've gone here for the past 6 years to get my hair done and I've always left happy. I show Denise a picture of what I like and I let her do whatever she thinks will look best.

Denise is the absolute best! She always makes getting my hair done an absolute blast and my hair comes out amazing! It's never a dull moment at gorgeous salon... if your looking for an amazing new hair do go to gorgeous and ask for Denise!
