Golden Bull

Here it is Friday morning and we had some time to kill so we decided to try out this place for breakfast as we've seen it multiple times in our travels. We walked in and were immediately enveloped by the aroma of deliciousness as we strolled up to the counter where we were warmly greeted. The menu has lots to offer from all types breakfast dishes to burgers, sandwiches, side dishes and so much more including beers. The hubby loves his chile verde so I already knew what he was going to order, the chile verde burrito of course. I, on the other hand always have a hard time deciding so I ask for recommendations. "Try the chile verde omelet", I'm told, it tastes so different than the burrito. While we were waiting for our food, we helped ourselves to a cup of coffee and took in the wall murals. The food came out and we picked it up from the counter. The burrito looked like a burrito but the omelet looked wonderful, slathered in green salsa. According to the hubby, the burrito was the bomb so don't t let looks fool you. The omelet was delicious! The meat was so tender and juicy! The green salsa was spot on, just the right amount of spice with a bit of a kick. The gentleman that took our order came over with a pot of coffee, asked if we'd like refills and we got to talking. His name is Sergio and he's the owner. It's his salsa recipe and he's there every morning prepping for the days meals. So if you find yourself on Rosedale Highway and Highway 43 check it out, you won't be disappointed!

So maybe one day you just have a hankering for a diner-style burger, you know the kind, juicy not-too-think patty and fresh veg. Well, head on over to Golden Bull. Okay, so is a little bit out of the way, but it's a fast drive, and if you live on the westside of town it's faster than driving into downtown. The onion rings are amazing, perfect, they don't fall apart, so crispy and golden. You can get a shake, they are made with soft-serve and syrups, but still really yummy. My top picks are the onion rings, fried zucchini, burger and green salads. All are diner-style. And don't forget, they have breakfast too! The staff is so kind and welcoming and exemplifies the motto of "service with a smile". I even accidentally dropped my tray while bussing my table after eating and they helped me and were so nice about it, even though I felt like such a klutz! I appreciate their kindness and not making me feel bad about the mess.

Me and my wife have eaten here. We really like it! They have good burgers and fries. Hard to find a good burger. Usually the meat it's self isn't that good and they mask it with a bunch of stuff but they have good meat. Soda and fries are good too. 5 stars! We called them before they closed not knowing the hours and they called us back and said they will take care of us. That says something about caring about your customers , not just closing down. I will remember that and be a regular customer of there's when I need something to eat when I'm out and about. They were already cleaned up and they were helping someone else past closing time.

The cheeseburger and fries are legit. Hubby had the same and liked his burger as well. This is a good size meal! You may possibly want to nap afterwards. If you're out in their area and hungry you'll definitely want to give them a try. Nom nom

I called in for a breakfast mixed burrito, It was almost ready when i got there 7 minutes after calling. The staff was very friendly and the establishment was clean. They serve BREAKFAST ALL DAY. The burrito was good but not the best I had in town. Ask for extra salsa. It's really good. The burrito wasn't gigantic, but just right. You can split it between two people if you're not that hungry. The price was $11.35 as of December 2, 2023

Nasty food now, Used to be good but now seems that the place has been headed downhill after new owners

Warm and friendly service, great food and atmosphere. Sergio was awesome, wholesome family run, local business. I like the support the ones that are out there making it happen in this economy. You'll like the food and the service !

Had very high hopes for this place. Ordered about 100 dollars worth of food burgers, kids meals, breakfast plate. They got almost the entire order wrong. Plain and no taste to their food. Not coming back..like ever.
