Maybe the best scone I've ever had...I cannot wait to go back home and order a Blueberry Lemon scone! The scone is tall, filling and iced. It pops with sweetness while still having a zest of tartness. I'd say they are a yummy morning treat, midday snackaroo or delightful dessert. I had nibbles of one all throughout the day, so I know haha. ;DWill I be back?Yes! I need to actually go into the shop and see what other goodies they offer as these were picked up for my Baby Shower by a hostess. We had about two dozen of the Chocolate Orange and Blueberry Lemon. Both, were fantastic but we had no Blueberry Lemon leftovers.

After hearing about the homophobic owner/employees & how they treated the customers, i will not be placing my order here as i was looking for a wedding cake to be done. Absolutely unacceptable & there is no place for this in Bakersfield!! I really hope your learn how to treat customers & not judge people.

It was my first time trying GhilaDolci Bakery. It's a small spot near the heart of Downtown Bakersfield. If you blink, you just might miss it. The bakery has parking in the back which is nice. The options change daily. They make small portions to guarantee that everything is always fresh using top of the line ingredients. The business itself is very small on the inside, and again the selections are limited. The staff was friendly and did offer recommendations being that it was my first time and I did not know what to specifically get.

I had been meaning to try this place for a very long time and I'm super glad it didn't disappoint! The cannoli was delicious, but that orange cran scone was the best. Lady was helpful, cute decor with what seems like personal family photos on the walls.

I'm a huge fan of cannoli and a huge fan of cookies. Okay, I take that back....I'm a HUGE fan of sweets! And this place hits the spot every time. I love how the menu changes, so it keeps me on my toes. But I will say my favorite item from here is the Cannoli Cookie. It tastes just like a cannoli and the cookie is sooo moist and doughy. It's also locally owned, so I do enjoy supporting this small business. Courtney is also very nice and professional. She did my parents' wedding anniversary cake several years ago, and not only did the cake look amazing, but it tasted just as good! If you haven't given Ghiladolci Bakery a try yet, you should soon!

Very cute bakery. Feels very inviting and clean inside. Courtney is very friendly and welcoming. Omg on her pastries.... Baked fresh and tasty. Love how the menu is posted on instagram ... so you know what they have daily. Very convenient. The cookies are my favorite.... Soft; tasty; chewy; and overall a nice treat.

This is an adorable bakery in Bakersfield, California. We tried two of their cookies, and they were so delicious and decadent. The size was quite large, and the texture was so soft. I really loved the one with the Biskoff cookie filling. We loved stopping here on our road trip and would definitely go back. I also have to give this place extra bonus points because I left my bag on accident and they were kind enough to reach out to me and hold onto my bag when I returned to pick it up. Thank you so much, definitely highly recommend and would be back to try this place when in the area!!

Just realized we never left a review after using GhilaDolci for our 2022 wedding.We love GhilaDolci Bakery, especially their cookies, so when it came time to decide what to serve our loved ones at our intimate backyard wedding, we knew it had to be from GhilaDolci. The pies were a hit and we loved being about to share our favorite local spot with everyone.We haven't been in awhile so posting this review is a reminder that we need to stop in & grab some goodies soon!

I'm not one to write a review but I'm appalled by my first impression. I'm locally new here in downtown Bakersfield and thought I would take a stroll around downtown on 2/21/2025 and came across this really cute small bakery and thought to give it a look around. Upon walking in There was this brunette haired lady "assisting" a sweet couple in the front but was having a nasty entitled attitude towards them I don't know what I walked into but they seemed very cooperative and kind of stand offish by her attitude. I'm not one to judge a book by it cover, but it seemed very much like homophobia too me and this is definitely not acceptable for a small local business and Im not sure if she was having a bad day, but it should definitely not be ignored and be addressed . I personally will not be coming back here for any future business and after witnessing this I was appalled by this first impression.

Expensive Thanksgiving pies.Pumpkin crumble was the BEST pumpkin pie I've had.Apple crumble was very good, but definitely second place to the pumpkin.Worth playing $40 each once a year.
