Service is slow and inconsistent. Food is sometimes incorrect or not made to order. The ambiance is a little run down. This place has potential but not sure if management is aware of the inconsistency

Legit prob the worst Sunday I've had. Ice cream was horrible, they put a drop of fudge, they didn't put whip cream nuts or a cherry. Wish I took a picture.

Unprofessional Staff! Me and my family where traveling through the area, we had been driving all day and were tired and hungry. It showed that the restaurant was open till 10pm so we headed over and got there around 9:10. Me, my wife and our 2 toddlers entered the restaurant, ordered our food and sat down. The restaurant was freezing and all the fans where on. I went out to my car and got a blanket. About 15 mins later we got our food. I got one bite into my burger when a young man came out and told me and my family that we had to leave because they were closing. I said, but online and on the door it states you are open till 10:00. The open sign in the window was still on and the door was unlocked . The guy just stood there looking at me. Me and my family left and ate our food in the car. We will never come back.

Completely disappointed. I ordered friend pickles and this is the ranch I was given to go along with them. I just have some questions. When you were filling this up you really felt this was an adequate job? What is the reason for not filling it up all the way? 7 pickles and a half cup of ranch. How do you expect me to ration this out for each pickle? Please do not be skimpy on ranch, thank you.

Don't let its looks from the outside fool you!! Looks like a greasy spoon, old school burger/pastrami/soft serve joint. Looks like an older building that has seen a few people over its many years, but the health rating was an A, and it was clean tables and a clean kitchen. Got the pastrami & mushrooms, and it was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Savory and deliSooooo yummy! Y'all gotta try it if you're through Taft!!

Food is always good & they have crazy good deals. I would recommend calling in the order to pick up!

On a hot day in Taft, I had a craving for ice cream. Luckily I stumbled upon this place. Frosty King serves soft serve ice cream cones, milkshakes, sundaes and banana splits. I shared a banana split with my partner. We asked for sweet sauces on the side and they obliged by neatly preparing small tubs of strawberries, crushed pineapple and chocolate sauce to go with our banana split. The smooth vanilla ice cream soothed my sweet tooth and cooled me off. It was exactly what I needed on that day.

Burgers are fresh, fries are always hot and they use crushed ice in their sodas! Cheeseburger meal under 6$. Keep up the good work!!!

Service was excellent. Food was hot and fresh. Burgers were delicious with crispy cold veggies. Shakes were flavorful. Prices were very reasonable.
