The residents of Bear Valley Springs are fortunate to have Four Island Lake in their own backyard. Terrific place to relax or for some family fun. There are some picnic tables, and you can barbecue. Nice little playground for the kids. There are rules regarding fishing and boating. Make sure to follow those rules. I really enjoyed the brief time we spent here. Maybe it was because we were the only ones there, but I found Four Island Lake to be quite beautiful and calming.

Four Island Lake is 37.5 acre lake that is located along the Bear Valley golf course. This is in the gated community of Bear Valley. Great place to paddle boat, fish and at one time swimming. Last summer I was able to enjoy a paddle boat with some friends and they informed me that you aren't able to swim here. Years ago, we used to come here for different events, such as a chili cook off and birthday parties and I remember people swimming. So I would call the association and find out if you can swim here. This was one of my favorite places to bring my girls when they were small. It's not your everyday play equipment, this stuff is fun!! I like that they have sand that you can lay a blanket down and just take in the beauty. There is launching ramps, fishing docks, volleyball, picnic tables with little BBQs, bathrooms are available next to playground. I have never had problem parking at this lake/park. I am always impressed with how they maintain their parks and lakes in Bear Valley.
