Fosters Donuts

I recently visited to grab a donut for my FIL and it's been YEARS since I've came to this Fosters Donuts. I grew up going to this place and for YEARS it was Delano's only donut shop. My sisters and I would walk wayyyyy out here just to get our sweet tooth fix and I remember my favorites were their PB donut, the donut holes and their cake-like brownie. It's crazy to see that this place is still here.Yes, it's not the best looking spot and they probably should do some remodeling, but the prices seemed cheaper than other donut places. They also STILL have their little drive thru window and that's a plus. I didn't get a chance to go down, but I read some of the reviews and found out they don't have seating inside anymore. Back in the day they had bar stools facing outside towards the windows and they had a metal bench in the front. They even had a pay phone outside, but none of that is there anymore.It's really nice to see this place still here. This place brings back a lot of memories. Especially those jumbo fruit punches mixed with lemonade (half n half) and they had the good ice too. The ice was the little small pellets that kept your drink super cold all the time.

Best donut spot in town. Been coming here for many years. I remember just coming by to get a drink during lunch since it's just across the street from the high school. The famous half and half (half fruit punch and half lemonade). I don't live in town anymore, but when I'm down I have to get that drink. Chocolate chip roll is my favorite donut.

Between the local competition, these are my favorite donuts. They don't have the old oil taste, they aren't greasy and they are fresh! I appreciate how honest they are also. Prices are fair! I can send in my 10 year old with a $20 bill and they won't short change her. Integrity is a huge part of business and that's one of the reasons this business has been around for decades! Keep it up.

Some damn good donuts. Better than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin for sure. Great service, the lady working was patient with us when we chose our dozen. Not a fancy place but the donuts are large, tasty, and fresh. 24 hour service and a drive through! It's a local hotspot, so if you are driving through I would stop by and grab some donuts. There is no where to sit but it's not that kind of place, just grab your donuts and go. They also have sodas and other beverages, no coffee.

Yelp reported this location as closed but it was most definitely open on 12/27/13 - open 24 hours a day according to a sign in the window.Inside it is small, there is no place to sit, but it is clean. It looks very mom and pop, not fancy at all. There isn't a large selection of donuts in the display case, but the ones they do have look shiny and delicious.The prices are relatively cheap: $.55 for plain, $.60 for cake, and $.75 for glazed donuts.I ordered a Glazed donut to split with my mom and we both found it light and fluffy with a nice smooth glaze that was not overly sweet. Mom said it was on a par with Dunkin' Donuts, which she holds as the gold standard in donuts. I thought it was pretty darn good. I would definitely come back when I am in Delano again.

Wish they would more to their menu like a cro-donut, but for not having been here since high school, it was delicious. Donuts taste freshly made, a drive thru definitely helps. The price is perfect and the service was so friendly and excellent. For being a part of the community for over 20 years I'm glad they are still standing and makes me nostalgic of my high school days. And I'm glad it's known as the best donuts in the Central Valley

Donuts are okay, however sometimes sit out. Peanut butter roll and drinks are the plus. The older guy helping at the window is rude however. Would be a better experience if he wasn't so moody/ smart with customers. Although this is an OG spot in Delano, it is not the same as before. Not the best donuts in Delano now, they are okay.

Simply freshest ingredients. Not greasy. Easy in the mouth. Dough texture soft inside but not doughy. Slight crunch outside. Probably one of the best donuts I had in forever. Will stop by each time I'm in town. So worth every bite. Pos side is the friendly staff.

I've been going here since I was a teen and it is the only doughnut place I will buy from. My mom brought over doughnuts from another place today and it only confirmed that all other doughnuts are trash (sorry mom!) The service in this place has been friendly and fast for a decade. Doughnuts are on the pricey side but 100% worth it.
