Food 4 Less

As the neighboring Walmart is not a Supercenter, I stopped over here this evening for something to enjoy for dessert before turning in for the night. I found it in spades. This is a huge supermarket and that's their focus, undistracted by electronics or automotive or toys. This is a grocery store, first and foremost.Produce, dairy, meats, household cleaning, beer and deli. Lots and lots of food.I thought the prices were excellent. Could the place be a little less "warehouse"? Sure, but if you want to pay more then there are stores that will give you a smoother/brighter/cleaner shopping experience. COVID has affected this store. It is 8:30 AM and there is this long line. COVID has affected the employees here. This virus has slowed them down to a snails pace. Please someone find the cure so this food 4 less can move faster. Ridiculous for sure.The line behind me extends to the rear of the store. It got to the point someone tossed their items they wanted to buy in a bin and walked out.

The quality of food products wasn't poor, but there wasn't much fresh fruits and veggies for sale. Most of the items sold here are packaged foods which are shelf-stable, or nonperishable. The Mexican candy and sweets aisle is pretty unique, I picked some wafers up. Customer service from the cashier was great.

I had a really great experience this afternoon at F4L. I went shopping groceries with my grandma, and when the cashier (Lizbeth I think was her name?) gave us the total, my grandma was handing her the $ but I didn't want her to pay. I asked Lizbeth to please take my money instead, which she did. Very fun transaction. Guy on the floor also helped us locate an item we couldn't find. Great service as always

It is always dirt. They have an ill kept meat and poultry section. Im very sure they roll their old beef in fresh blood as part of the "added value" strategy. Thier sefood section is disgusting. Seriously. The fish looks dry and poorly refrigerated. It has everything you need but its standards have always been low on cleanliness.

I was there this evening !Register #4 I believe her name was Vanessa Mendoza Was really great to customers !This lady dropped her grapes all over the floor She immediately reported it on the intercom this employee ran over and quickly ran to replace the grapes I would make her employee of the month ! Or even year She is very smiley n happy !

Helpful, friendly staff. Great prices. Well organized store. Logically designed. Fresh produce, but not as good quality as some of the higher end grocers. Good selection of meat, again, not as high quality, but certainly decent.

This store is open 24 hours. I like going there and just getting whatever it is I need if I have a late night cravings of something I don't have in my fridge. They have good customer service they have great selection of produce.

I went to the Food 4 Less store in Porterville this morning with my husband, who is temporarily disabled, to do some shopping. When I went in to get an electric cart for him to use, I didn't see any and asked a checkout clerk and she informed me they don't have them. I was shocked, to say the least. I should have left then but needed a couple of things so bought them and rushed out of the store. There were a few other things I needed but didn't want to take the time to find them because my husband was waiting in the car. I'm very disappointed with them and probably won't go back again.

Has all the regular groceries you can buy at a discount. service seems regular, and is quite most of the time except for songs that play at a moderate level. feels like short lines most of the time.
