Ok hear me out - the creamy white vanilla soft serve ice cream is hard to find. I'm not talking about the yellow icee like junk that most places serve, I'm talking that top quality vanilla- white as snow, thick, soft, creamy & dreamy soft serve. Flame and Freeze has that type of soft serve! It's on the same level as Disneyland soft serve! My Only wish is that they would dip my cone in sprinkles so I could pretend I was in cars land at the cozy cone, but alas they don't have sprinkles! Also can't beat the prices. 2.85 for my medium cone which is huge! 6.50 for a massive (medium) Oreo twister! No where else in bakersfield can we get our ice cream fix with that top quality for that price!

Staff is very nice. Parking is not an issue at this fast food spot that makes fresh food to order. Also has a drive through. Restaurant is clean. Food is solid for a fast food spot but I do wish it was a little cheaper but this is the new normal. Crinkle cut fries were good. San Joaquin burger was good but the pastrami needs to be upgraded as there is too much fat and difficult to eat pieces. Since I would return if I was a local but would get a burger without pastrami, I will round up the 3.5 star review to a full 4.

First time visiting this place it was clean the service was good the food was good they accommodated to my special diet the only thing I didn't like was that the charge for the yellow peppers & they apparently changed me 50 cents to run my bank card the first time I paid & then they charged me again when I asked for the yellow peppers another 50 cents I'm just saying it starts adding up!!

This place has always been one of my top choices for a chicken sandwich. The food is delicious and consistently fresh. However, I agree with some of the other reviews about the fries--they're often pale. They didn't used to be like that, and I'm not sure what changed. I prefer mine crispy, with a toasty color and plenty of seasoning.

If your craving the best crinkle cut, gluttonous French fries, you're welcome! Don't forget to add some delicious ranch as well If this place was in a different location and had waiting service, I think it would be so popular. It's that down home, delicious fast food you crave, but can't find. I was craving crinkle cut French fries and of course yelped it, and drive 20 minutes here. Worthy of every penny. I also had a veggie burger, and my son had a burger, nuggets, and dessert. Next time I feel like being naughty or having a cheat day, this will be my spot. Also, customer service was amazing.

CUSTOMER BEWARE I came by and made a $50 order for dinner for the family. When I arrived home, I discovered that a whole chicken strip dinner was missing. Immediately I called and was told to come right back for it and apologized to profusely. When I got back to this establishment minutes later they acted weird & told me that no, they would not replace the food. They said that I had no proof that it wasn't in there. I thought the cashier was joking at first. Nope. They were serious. What a lot of effort to put forward to cheat them of chicken strips. My time is more valuable than that- come on, now. They scribbled a phone number on a blank piece of receipt paper with the name 'Moe' and told me to call and take this matter up with him. At this point I'm laughing in disbelief. What??! This has to be a joke. Guess who got cheated out of a chicken strip meal? I was so annoyed by this game. I ended up going someplace else for my sons chicken strips. The phone number was bunk. A fake line with a full voicemail box. I would not recommend this place at all. Skip the drama and go to another burger joint a few blocks away where the food is the same & the customer service isn't absolute trash.

Best breakfast burritos I have ever had..! I order the "all meat" burrito, with the 4 meats (chorizo, ham, bacon, and sausage) and they make it perfectly portioned. Even their pico de gallo is bomb..!! And great service, always very nice and helpful.
