This place is great! Full of Mexican food you can't find everywhere. They have delicious salsas, two types of Abuelita, a variety of Dad's sodas and one of the best BBQ chickens I've ever eaten! It's right up there with Kenny Roger's chicken.The chicken, was crisp on the outside, moist on the inside and loaded with spices. I will certainly be back!

This has always been the "go to" for my family and I. They have delicious bbq ribs and their meat is fresh! Employees are always mostly nice And they also have Breyers ice cream by the scoop!

There chicken they grill is tasty you can get half a chicken for $4.95 And the whole chicken for 9.95Which is a great deal The green sauce and red sauce are also delicious the cashiers should be a bit more friendly they look like they don't want to be there when I went it was like around 3pm and the cashier seem bothered to even help me

"Local Gem"My wife and I have been utilizing the meat market here for the past three or four years and just love this place. Always very clean and the meat selections and butchers are some of the best in town. The grocery side is always stocked with hard to find dips, sauces, spices etc. What got me to finally do a review was one of my really good customers has been raving about the Tri-Tip lunch that they have on I believe Friday and Saturdays. He calls me today and asks if I would like him to bring me a plate for lunch.....well hell yeh!! People....Bakersfield people when on the East side you MUST try this place out. For fifteen bucks you get the most delicious thin sliced Tri-Tip had to have been a half a pound, macaroni bomb salad, some of the best beans I have ever tasted, a sausage... yes a homemade sausage, Pyrenees roll and BBQ sauce. It was bad to the bone. There was so much food ( and I can grub) that I could only eat about half of the lunch. I will definitely be going back for this great deal that two could share and probably still have leftovers. Great job!!I without a doubt would recommend this establishment as a GREAT GRUB LOCATION

Great little local market with an awesome meat section. This grocery store is not large and doesn't have a huge selection of stuff, but it has the basics and the prices are outrageous like other places. The staff is very helpful and friendly; they greet you when you come in and nicely help you as you check out. On certian days, they cook different meats out front and sell them. We haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but would like to try it. It's easy to get what you need and get out quickly.

This is one of my favorite market to get my meats! I especially love the Salvadorian meat they got there with the extra flab on the tip. They got awesome weekend BBQ going on rain or shine they'll be cooking. The butcher (I believe his name is Lonzo) in the back is very helpful when It comes to picking the right choice of meat for what I'm in need for. Awesome place to come to if you wanting to fell welcomed.
